Publisher's Summary

The Wind Dragons MC couple who started it all is back! We met the stars of Chantal Fernando’s best-selling series in Dragon’s Lair, and now Sin and Faye are ready for more - and with these two, that means more passion, more action, and more of the best kind of trouble.

Sin, president of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, doesn’t mind that things have quieted down since he got married - with Faye at his side, he’ll never be bored. Plus, they’ve got their little girl Clover to keep them on their toes. But when new MC brother Talon needs help rooting out a traitor in his old club, Faye’s the first to volunteer. She’s more determined than ever to get involved and put her law degree to good use, but Sin soon finds himself riding to the rescue. Because he’ll kill anybody who touches a hair on Faye’s head - if she doesn’t get to them first. One way or another, tonight’s going to be someone’s last ride....

Bad Case of Perfect Woman Syndrome

The writer has obviously fallen a little too in love with Faye, and has a bad case of "perfect character syndrome" whereby all the characters love her, depend on her, and vie to be in her very presence... [eyeroll]. Got old fast.

Might as well call the MC Faye's MC.

Sin!!!!!

I was surprised by the ending. I love all the great characters and the relationships, the romance, the danger and the family atmosphere. I dont understand the decision made at the end but I love the writing. I will support her as long as she keeps writing ❤❤❤

#Toohardtobeleive

I could not believe how hard Faye was in this book. She is the wife of the President of the MC, no the President herself. Her action were too unbelievable. She is a lawyer and working with the Feds. But she is doing more criminal activity than anything. I loved this series but did not like this book because of Faye's character.

I agree with another reviewer

I agree with another reviewer who wrote that she found Faye’s character distasteful, in this novella. She has become over confident and arrogant. I don’t care how bad ass a woman, mother and wife is, being kidnapped should upset you; if no other reason then because you don’t want your family to be scarred by your demise.
In addition, I found the way that she strategically gained contacts, through the courts and federal law enforcement, in preparation of avoiding criminal charges for WDMC member, disturbing. It is like the oath she took after passing the Barr, means nothing to her.
Oh well, I could rant, but what’s the point. I bought this novella but it’s part of the Romance package now, so it’s at least worth a RP listen.

Didnt like Faye this time around.

I liked Faye much better in the first book. I get it that she needs to be tough to be the queen but I felt no love comong from her at all. I didnt like the entitled feel I got from her in this book.
