humor saves from reality

abuse, abusive-spouse, kidnapping, private-investigators, childhood-trauma, situational-humor, verbal-humor

The first thing a reader needs to know about any of the books in the series is that there is an abundance of humor. The second is that the humor is there to offset some rather severe realities. Brought into the sunlight this time are domestic violence and the damage it does to children and the non abusive parent. As a nurse, I do wish that it had been mentioned that sometimes that behavior is passed on and sometimes it leads to drug problems. But I give it high marks for what it does do. There are other issues addressed as well, and they are managed very, very well indeed.
George Kuch continues to be exceptional as narrator.

Incredibly addicting series !!

Character driven suspense with highly engaging characters and a killer to keep the tension high..
Vivid narration by George Kuch.. You will not be dissapointed..
This is such an incredible series. From the first book through the last I'm on book 30 and, the quality never waivers. I have pre-ordered book 33 and may set my alarm to wake up when it arrives on my Kindle.

A poignant mystery with plenty of humor!

There are so many important topics and stories being told, yet there is humor and mystery & bravery at the same time. Robert Thornhill has a gift for telling stories which are thought provoking & thrilling at the same time. This book covers many smaller plots, but the overarching theme was how abuse affects everyone involved; the kids, the spouse, and friends/family. The beauty of this series is that it’s handled so delicately with honesty, humor & a cast of characters you will instantly love!

Thought-provoking!

Poignant story of how children cope with traumatic experiences.
It also gives thought-provoking statistics on the new opioid prescription laws. As usual where the law convicts the guilty it fails to protect the innocent.

George Kuch is good again!

Great Series

I absolutely love this series as they are thought provoking with humor. In this book it covers women’s abuse and has a Christmas miracle occur as boy becomes a man after helping Walt. I love all of the characters especially Walt and his extended family. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend if you enjoy thought provoking mysteries with humor. Keep them coming! Walt to the Rescue

Lady Justice and the Magic Dragon
(Lady Justice #29)
by Robert Thornhill

This volume of The Lady Justice series deals with more social issues. We are shown street thugs which are not new, nor domestic violence, or sexual harassment and abuse. We see how others can be affected. The way Walt and friends handle these situations may not be possible to most, but they show there is help out there. Thank you to Mr. Thornhill for highlighting these issues!!!

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch you are the best!!!

I loved it!

Robert Thornhill has such a wonderful writing style and writes entertaining and thought provoking books. As a child I loved the song Puff The Magic Dragon, and thought he did an incredible job of tying it into this book. He weaves strong messages into the stories that deal with current events, yet magically has them mesh into the characters lives. George Kuch performance is brilliant with his various character voices. I love how this book is part of a series and a great standalone listen. This is one of my very favorite books by the author.

Tough to review this one.

This audiobook is hard for me to review,
Don’t get me wrong it was well written but it was I believe for a very young audience, something like 12-13 year old crowd.
Somehow the author turned an ugly world into a beautiful one which eventually everything works out at the end no matter how bad the situation is. Thank
I did like how the author got Amazon Alexia into the story implying that privacy is gone and listening to it on Amazon was beautiful.

Do I recommend this book?
Yes for youngsters but not for adults.

My honest review even so that I got the audiobook for free.
