Great, We’ll Researched Biography!

Although the first several years into Kubrick life are slow, this book, it picks up as it gets into his more popular movies and his eccentric behavior (he’s super cheap).

Great walk through the work of a great artist

I watched all of the feature films, mainly in chronological order, with this great audiobook as a companion. A real fine journey!

A fairly balanced look at a Master Filmmaker

I was pretty pleased with the manuscript until the author started waxing poetic Eyes Wide Shut. Yeah I didn’t like that movie and a bit of a whimper for Mr Kubrick in which to departed after. Overall though I enjoyed this and appreciated the arrangement of the narrative from the POV of his filmography. So many references to his Jewish ethnicity. Good lord. Give it a rest.
