Not at the top, but in the top levels

What was one of the most memorable moments of Kris Jenner...and All Things Kardashian?

I appreciated getting an insiders look at the OJ - Nicole tragedy. And I was happy to know that even someone as close to them as the Kardashian's could see through all the BS and see the true psychopath OJ is.

What about Marcia Strassman and Kris Jenner (introduction) ’s performance did you like?

I like Kris' voice in the intro. I wish she would have narrated the whole book. With all due respect for Ms. Strassman, I don't think her voice fit well with Kris' words. I was distracted by her raspier voice with Kris' face in my mind. Seemed like a mismatch.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Robert Kardashian's letter to her after the OJ trial. This book made me really admire Robert Kardashian. What an amazing man he was. And also, learning about Bruce Jenner. He sounds like a great guy too. I don't watch their show, so I enjoyed learning about them through Kris' perspective.Also, her talking about the loss of her Dads and Robert. That stirred up my personal experiences of my own losses. So those parts had me in tears.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the book, but I cringed every time Kris talks about a vehicle. "I drove up in my Range Rover"."I rented a Mercedes Bus." "We got in the BMW Limo." We get it Kris - you have money. My friends and I either do, or have driven high end cars also, but none of us refer to them by the brand. That's so annoying and pompous.

On another topic, with so many personal things she reveals in the book about herself and her family and also friends, I'm surprised there was no mention of Kim's sextape - unless I missed that. Urban Legend is that is what got the Kardashian's on the map and their show and began their fame. As a Mom myself, I wouldn't want to discuss things like that about my daughters either, but with all that WAS revealed in the book, it surprised me that was not.

Bottom line is, Kris has had some awesome opportunities which she very wisely acted on and ultimately became the person she is today. Yeah - a little hiccup with Ryan, but so what. She is a brilliant business woman with six gorgeous children and a great family. She's lucky and she's blessed.

I enjoyed the stories

I enjoy the watching the show,but I lost all respect for you Kris when you were bragging about Khloe taking care of Kendall &Kylie so you could go out and get your life back. I have no doubts that yourself hard workers and you deserve nice things but you really need to tone down how materialistic you are.

Interesting Memoir Well Told

If you could sum up Kris Jenner...and All Things Kardashian in three words, what would they be?

Great read for executives. Kris Jenner is a high powered and hugely successful executive. I am not familiar with the reality show. I read the book from the viewpoint of an executive. Was curious to understand how she got Bruce Jenner's career back on track. I understand what kind of executive she is, the kind that pushes her power under other people. And she is very good at it. She and Jenner are both those kinds of people and why they created so much success.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There was nothing to dislike about any of the characters. They are just hard working, ambitious and competent people with high standards. Industrious. Kris is a good story teller and communicator, which is probably instrumental in her success.

What does Marcia Strassman and Kris Jenner (introduction) bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I thought the audio performance was superb. I didn't know it wasn't the author herself until I started to leave a review and read some others. Didn't matter to me who was reading it, it was superb. One of the best reads to date I have listened to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

As opposed to being over estimated, I think Kris and Bruce Jenner have actually been very much under estimated. Between the two of them managing several children, careers and enterprises. You do not become affluent and prosperous from watching television. It takes hard work, courage, bright ideas and being competent. Which, she and Jenner are all about.

Facinating Story

It was well read, offers a very intriguing insight into Kris’ life and who she is.

Expected More...

Kris Jenner's story is very unique in terms of all of the opportunities and obstacles she's endured. I am disappointed as I feel she could have delved deeper into her personal relationship with Bruce Jenner and not spent so much time recalling her first love which she wouldn't even call by his actual first name. I feel as though she could have gone into each of the girl's scandals a little bit more than just mentioning mentioning the girls and their hobbies versus their obstacles as well. Since Kris is the matriarch of the family, each of the girls problems nd Rob's issues had to have some effect on her as well. That is what I would have liked for her to discuss in more depth. I also think that Kris Jenner should have narrorated this herself. That would have gained a lot more respect from me from this book.
