Two years on staff. Hundreds of happy matches… for guests, not for me.

I’m Lindsey Lance, surf instructor at Naughty Knots Paradise, and I’ve seen the program work like clockwork. Scent labs. Compatibility modules. Twenty-one days of supervised trials that turn skeptics into bonded omegas.

For everyone except me.

Then they check in, and suddenly I’m burning up.

Four alphas. Best friends since college. Here for the full twenty-one-day experience because solo matching hasn’t worked and they’re done pretending it will. They’re not supposed to be my problem:

Jonas, their unofficial leader, watches me across the shoreline like I’m a riptide he plans to swim straight into.
Cal, the golden one with the easy grin, keeps “accidentally” booking sunrise lessons… and standing a little too close when the wind shifts.
Drew, all brooding muscle and salt-rough hands, doesn’t talk much, but when I wipe out, he’s the one hauling me out of the water, holding on like he’s scared I’ll vanish.
And Theo, quiet and sharp-eyed, tells me on day three the truth that makes my knees go weak: my scent hit them hard the second they stepped foot on my beach. The program just didn’t let it show.

When an unruly rival alpha catches wind of my newly found scent, he starts trouble. But my four men?

They stand strong. For me.

The rules say staff never get involved with guests. The director says I should transfer islands and let the algorithm “resolve the anomaly.”

But my heat, the weak cycle I’ve spent my whole life apologizing for, is building like a tidal wave I can’t outrun.

Twenty-one days. I’m supposed to stay professional. I can follow the handbook…

Or I can rewrite the rules.

Good book with good details. However, even though we know the FMC was allowed to be with the pack by the end of the story, there is absolutely no idea of how their HEA ended up. Does the pack live close enough to the resort to make keeping her job worthwhile, or did they move their life close to the resort so that her fight for her job was worth it. I feel left hanging by this uncertain HEA.

Good but not a good detailed conclusion.
