Publisher's Summary

Kirall was desperate. He was a Black Prime Dragoon, the strongest and fiercest of his kind. He was returning home after defeating the Varana when a small planet's moon triggered his Joining Heat. It shouldn't have been possible.

He was right.

Autumn was desperate. She was human, female, and struggling to survive. At 22, she was barely making ends meet. It's why she agreed to impersonate her roommate as a waitress for the weekend at a private party. She believed the money would change her life.

She was right.

Two unlikely people are brought together because of desperation. If they can find a way past the deceptions that brought them together, they will change not only each other, but possibly the universe as well.

Enjoyable Story

A very good narration that helped to make an already good book thoroughly enjoyable. From start to finish I listened because the story captivated me.

Heart Sick

I absolutely love M.K. Eidem's Stories. But this one although only 4 1/2 hours long. Was nothing but sex for most of the book. Break's my heart because it could have been so much more! The narration was great as always. Believe it or not I am not apposed to a few sex scenes. Because I can skip through them and get on with the story. When I get fed up with all the unnecessary descriptions of the act. However this book was way out of line and over the top with the sex!

Date rape drugs, Stolkholm syndrome, has it all...

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

M.K.Eidem is generally over the top with the sex stuff, but this....is not redeemable.

What could M.K. Eidem have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

NOT begin the story with the violent rape of a virgin, complete with a date rape drug. That would be a good beginning.

I kept giggling-the narration was awful

I truly like this kind of story, so it's not that I just don't like corny romance novels. But this was just so silly and stilted, with less than zero in character development. Plus nothing seemed reasonable. The heroine is as dumb as a box of rocks and so gullible. And then there was the narration. The guy sounds like a dweeby middle-aged man from the South Bronx. I just couldn't see him as this hunky dragon-man. It just didn't' fit. I don't usually care that much about narration, but this just didn't work for me. Sorry, I'm returning it.

Surprisingly great!

I really enjoyed it and got to the point where I went to the next book and then realize I'm going have to wait a couple more years for the next one to come out I really look forward to it and yes I recommend it to anybody that loves the idea of dragons and people being in love.

Inventive short story well worth the listen. Progressed with surprises and made you want to find out what was next.

Interesting

I love mk Eidem books. I noticed that this particular story had many similarities to the kalizians but was still diverse enough to not feel like it was repetitive. Autumn and Kirall seem like they are building a relationship slowly even though he thought she was a means to an end. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I read the ebook first and enjoyed that version but now that I have listened to the audible version i love it even more, I have never had such a thrilling listen as I have with this book.

Boring

What would have made Kirall's Kiss better?

I am afraid I found this story extremely boring. If you took out the sex scenes the book would be very short, I skipped through most of them. There is very little story here, and what there is was really dull. The female lead was pathetic and weak, her reaction when she was practically raped was ridiculous and I have to say her personality was not helped by the monotone and sickly sweet voice of the female narrator.

Has Kirall's Kiss put you off other books in this genre?

No but it has certainly put me off this author and the narrator.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The male narrators were ok, but the female had little personality.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No

A definite read for any romance fan

Always a delight to read. I didn't think they could get better, but the audio format is fantastic and shows the authors attention to detail isn't only in her writing but in her choice of audio narrators. Fantastic book you'll love to listen to again and again......
