Savage. Beautiful. A true work of art.
The fact a series with such brutal characters was able to leave me with tears in my eyes as I listened to the epilogue, in itself, says a lot. I loved this. I'm not one to get teary. Ruka has become one of, if not my favorite character in all of fiction.
Thank you to the narrator and to Richard Nell for bringing me these hours of joy.
Do not make the mistake I have in the past, of dismissing a book due to its lack of popularity.
This is just about as good as it gets.

One of the best series I’ve ever experienced
An amazing ending to one of my new favorite series. Everything about this wonderful story from the writing to the narration was excellent, I found this series by chance and now may have a new favorite author.

Brilliant Series worth your time
It is absolutely crazy that this series is not more well known. Deep and nuanced characters you will love and hate set in an interesting world. I too am very surprised to have had such a dark and gritty story also evoke such emotion and actually cause me to tear up at times. A gem of a series!
