A great adventure in a historical setting

I haven’t listened to classical literature for a while, and this book reminded me why I love so many of the classics. There is a reason that such a book is considered one, and that these books endure. Well written, great characters, adventure, ethical questions to ponder (what would I do in such a circumstance?), and thoroughly engaging. The narrator did a great job, too. I highly recommend this book.

Good book

It was a good adventure with a well done and fitting narration. I would recommend.

It was an epic journey, moved through clearly exciting.

Stevenson is an extra good writer. Time dated, of course, but I love that. It’s easy to identify with the betrayals and upside down situations. And I loved David’s friend as a mentor and teacher for such a young man.

A True Classic…!!!

An adventure for all ages. “Kidnapped” is a novel, with a wonderful ending, that all should read and reread. How the author’s characters deal with challenges, difficulties and the unknowns, of daily living, can be embraced by all of humanity. 📚📖📚

great story

I thoroughly enjoyed the tale and loved the way it was presented. The characters seemed to come to life and the language was fascinating.
