Publisher's Summary

William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski, one the son of a Boston millionaire, the other a penniless Polish immigrant, born on the same day near the turn of the century on opposite sides of the world are brought together by fate and the quest of a dream. Two men, ambitious, powerful, ruthless, are locked in a relentless struggle to build an empire, fueled by their all-consuming hatred. Over sixty years and three generations, through war, marriage, fortune, and disaster, Kane and Abel battle for the success and triumph that only one man can have.

too predictable

the book is abriged and thus very short. If I had the longer version I would enjoyed developed story lines. this version is choppy.

Great story and amazingly narrated.

This is one of my favorite books. I read it over 20 years ago. Once I started to read it, it was truly one of those books that is hard to put down. There is never a dull moment that most storys have. I decided to get it on audio recently to relive the story of Kane & Abel and all i can say is WOW!!! Jeff Harding is so talented at telling a story. I found my self once again reliving this as if I had never read it before. I would recommend this as a must have in any fans collection!
