Publisher's summary

Nameless is wrestling with more violent visions of the future when his next mission comes with the assurance, This one will be easy. It’s a promise that leaves Nameless dangerously unprepared.

It seems straightforward enough: Get a foot in the door by posing as a potential investor in a lucrative underground business—then bring the place down from the inside. There’s more here than meets the eye. What it triggers in Nameless is uncontrollable rage and brutal retribution. What it reveals is a clue to his forgotten past. Is it a breach on his handler’s part? Or a test? Either way, something’s not right.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz comes Kaleidoscope, part 3 of Season 2 of Nameless, a gripping collection of stories about a man in search of the truth, the past, and those who owe a debt of blood. Follow him through each story, which can be read or listened to in a single sitting.

Frightening

With all that's going on in the world, this is one of the most disquieting stories as it progresses from one short book to the next. I am hoping that Mr. Koontz can pull the whole series to a much more hopeful finale. I read him because he always has in the past. However, this part of this series has me wondering if I really want to continue. A plus if it's the author's goal but tough on my nerves!

Nice book

The first thing is the only one who can do this for me to make me happy to get the job and the best I could get in a relationship.

great short story ❤️

I love Dean Koontz stories. He writes about the fight between good and evil without moralizing. And there are dogs, the ultimate goodness.

Great series can always rely on Koontz

This is the second set of Nameless books and each one of them is good. You could read it as a stand alone but I don't think it would be as near as enjoyable. Nameless is a very interesting Koontz character check them out but start at the beginning.

Disturbing view of society

Nameless, while unwinding before his next assignment, receives more disturbing premonitions about deaths of people he knows. Then a supposedly simple mission becomes more difficult and dangerous. Nameless continues with his vigilante missions without knowing his past or what Ace’s objectives are. He senses that things could soon be coming to an end.
