My Two Pennies

Narration by Elizabeth Tebb is wonderful, having the distinction between the characters be so clear and feeling the emotions through the speakers is what you want in an audiobook. Story wise, This story is so much more then just the KPop industry, we go through multiple ups and downs right alongside Hannah as she tries to find her own way to survive in the world at such a young age. YoungJae is a man that wants to care and protect you with all that he has. Seeing these two develop a friendship that grows stronger as the days pass have you cheering them on for more. As warned by the author, this story brings us through serious topics and events that may not be everyone’s cup of tea to read but I will tell you this much, it’s worth it. Your heart will crumble for Hannah as you witness everything first hand but seeing the aftermath makes you so damn proud of her. Beautifully written story that I couldn’t get enough of and a non stop page turner.
