Resumen del Editor

Now that Candace is a star, her life is suddenly filled with glamour. She's known everywhere; she has adoring fans who worship her and her boyfriend, YoungBae; and she has unlimited access to her label-mates SLK, who happen to be the top boy band in the world.

Even more important, her company, S.A.Y., tells her they've heard her message of change loud and clear. They promise to make sweeping changes to become a more humane and compassionate place for artists.

But the road to a record-breaking debut isn't going to be smooth. The schedule is even more grueling; the pressure is immense, and there's unexpected competition from a rival girl group that's become the latest viral sensation—not to mention constant bullying and false rumors online.

When increasingly-virulent online scandals threaten the future of YAS-Q—and it becomes painfully clear that S.A.Y. is as manipulative as ever—Candace realizes it's not enough to use her voice alone. It's time to join forces and take action.

It's time for a K-Pop revolution.

Wonderful Kpop story and reader

As a huge (grownup) fan of Kdramas and Kpop I thoroughly enjoyed this book/series. And the reader was perfect.

Best Kpop novel series

Very much enjoyed this book and the first in the series. The story was the most compelling of all the Kpop novels I’ve read. Highly recommend if you’re into Korea or Kpop. Performance was excellent too.

American Politics Cultural Appropriation Racism

Oof cherry pick cultural appropriation much? I was totally on to this until they HAD to make a political identity stance where it isn't necessary. There's already enough going on in this novel and they switch it to make a political statement. Funny how the same folks preaching inclusivity are the same folks that undermine Asian culture at EVERY turn...I spent money on this and it spits in the face of Kpop.
I adored book one. I was totally psyched for Candace's debuting journey. But of course liberals do as liberal does and they stray away from an interesting story to put in something pointless and unnecessary to check inclusion boxes...
Don't judge a book by its cover is right. The cover isn't about Candace or Young Bae or 1-J like it would have you believe. It has nothing to do with them. It's just another liberal fluff piece. Forget culture and confirm to the liberals of America.

The more I listen the more anti white racism takes place.
It's fine. No white person has ever experienced not feeling like they belong to their culture while looking like it. Or being shamed for adoring a culture and shamed because we're white. The white racism is intolerable. It's great to know how excepting this book is to everyone except white people.
