McKay-Taggart operative Riley Blade has no intention of returning to Los Angeles after his brief stint as a consultant on mega-star Lyle Tarpin’s latest action flick. Not even for Natasha Black, Tarpin’s sexy personal assistant who’d gotten under his skin. Why would he, when Tasha made it absolutely clear that - attraction or not - she wasn’t interested in a fling, much less a relationship.

But when Riley learns that someone is stalking her, he races to her side. Determined to not only protect her, but to convince her that - no matter what has hurt her in the past - he’s not only going to fight for her, he’s going to win her heart. Forever.

I'm sorry I can't get past the male narrator performing the main female character's voice.

Ugh

My 1st novella of J. Kenner and I enjoyed it immensely. I've always enjoy stories on "The Whodunnit" and with adding romance to it makes it even better. "Justify Me" definitely filled my appetite and hitting both on the suspense and on the romance + giving me the HEA that I always look for in the end.

Nice Suspenseful and Romantic Novella ☺

I generally don't write reviews, but this one I had to say something about. It was a good Stark story and I really liked it, but the narration was weird. I really didn't like a male voice narrate a female part. At times, it got confusing as to whose point of view it was. When a female narrates both parts, they can make their voice different enough to know who is speaking, but a rich, deep male voice for the whole thing just confused me. His voice and narration were awesome for the male part, just not the female part.

Of all of the novels, in this project. This novella blended the least, with the original series. The main characters from the Stark series, were not only involved; most weren’t even mentioned. Basically, J Kenner just used the setting, from her series, and had a few interactions, on the edges with her characters. Therefore, it didn’t really come across as a true blending of the two series. It was just an Ok short story. Had this not been part of the Romance package, I would want a refund.

Too short and not really a blend of the Taggert/Stark world!
