This was a very good story. I loved Jessie, she's really great. Justice is a pretty good guy and I was happy to see him find happiness. I'm really loving this series and can't wait to read more of it.

Jessie is smart and feisty woman. She's the daughter of a Senator and works as a liaison that helps the New Species (NS) women when they're rescued from captivity. She hasn't met Justice previously, but one night when she's at the Reservation (one of the NS compounds) they meet and feel a connection. They come together but only get a few hours together before they both get pulled away by work.

Justice is the leader of the NSO. He doesn't relish the responsibility but everyone keeps insisting the NS would be lost without him and no one else can do his job. He never gets a break and spends all his time working for his people. When he meets Jessie, he feels a strong attraction and wants her but knows that his life would cause too many issue for them to be together. Regardless of this, he can't stop thinking about her.

Right after Jessie and Justice come together the first time, Jessie ends up hurt while retrieving a rescued NS female. Her father (the Senator and also the person who gave her the job) fired her because of the danger. Justice can't stand the thought of not seeing her again and offers her a job in Homeland (the main NS compound). He also moves her in to a house right next to him and doesn't do a very good job of staying on his side of the wall between their yards. Jessie doesn't mind though since she's very attracted to Justice and decides she's willing to try for something more serious with Justice when he shows a serious interest. She agrees to keep their relationship secret at first because he sees many reasons why their relationship could cause problems.

Jessie and Justice are happy together for a short while but there's only so far their relationship can go when they can only be in one at her place. She isn't even allowed to visit his house because people might wonder why her scent is there (NS has awesome sense of smell). Jessie ends up realizing that Justice will never allow their relationship public and still holds plans for his future that can't include her. She ends the relationship with Justice but he doesn't take it well and it's very painful for both of them. This is made worse by Justice not accepting her breakup even though nothing has changed, he wont take their relationship public and she's not willing to be a dirty little secret in a relationship that has an expiration date. Eventually things come to a head when Justice is pushed in to a jealous scene and finally claims Jessie. There's some addition issues to get through when they find resistance to their relationship from an unexpected source but they get through it (partially because Jessie is a bad@ss) and get a nice HEA.

I really liked this story. I have to admit to a bit of annoyance when Justice was being an idiot about their relationship but I was so happy once he and Jessie got together. Jessie is great and I loved her. She's the perfect mate for Justice and am glad they got together. I'm looking forward to reading more of the NS stories. I'd recommend this book. Thumbs up! :D

This is the bes book in the series so far. I loved Justice's control and authority. But I loved him even more when he was with Jessie. Their story was more drawn out. Jessie knowing he's overworked and needs a break and Justice's conflict when it came to his commitment to is people and his love and fear for Jessie. Their bedroom scenes were HOT!!!

What did you like best about this story?

The story in general. I've enjoyed the series out of order, less for the sex and more for the getting to know the characters.

Have you listened to any of Vanessa Chambers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to her through the whole series (not in order). She does well. I do wish her male character voices were less stereotypical and raspy, but in a series featuring so many males, she did ok.

Justice for All.

This was another great installment in the New Species saga. Justice had a hard life as the face of NS. He felt compelled to take a NS female and is shocked to find himself in love with Jessie, a Human female AND a senators daughter to boot! Lots of action and lots of HAWT sex makes this book a great listen. Worth the time and money. Narration was once again excellent!

I loved this book so much that I listened to it again days later. By far a great read. There are so many great parts but one most memorable scene was in the bedroom where Justice said to Jesse, “you wanted to see the real me, well baby, here I am’” as he spreads his arms wide. Oh My Gosh 😳😳👍🏼💕💕. Overall, didn’t disappoint. This one needs to be made in a movie. How about mini series for all or a podcast? Great work.

My favorite of the series

My fatal flaw is that I live listening to audiobooks when I go to sleep. The bad part is that I can’t start a new book, or I’ll be up all night.

I must have listened to Justice ten times. It has the perfect balance of plot, spice, and romance. The romantic conflict is written in a way that you can see both sides.

It was nice to watch Justice find his happy ending.

Justice and Jessie, what better couple

Love this one. Justice, being the head of the "New Species", is not only a great leader, but a very intelligent, sex, beautiful man (my imagination). Jessie is a tough little spit fire. She can protect herself, as well as any of those big men she works with. Being the fourth book, you would think that the author wouldn't be able to develop a different personality for another "New Species" character that is unique, but she has. The narrator does an excellent job of distinguishing between the characters. Loved this book. Again, Laurann, or the publisher, who decided to give us a preview of the next book with an entire chapter, knows how to sell books. I was planning on reading another author's book, but after hearing the first chapter of "Justice", I bought it and started it immediately. Now I have moved on to Brawn. Thx

Sexier than the Last!

I’ve been waiting to hear about Justice! You made him to be even sexier and hotter than I could have imagined! Jessie is the best heroine so far! Perfect mates!

It was awesome. These books just keep getting better and better. I just love the characters. Justice North is everything an alpha male should be.
