Great Story!

I really enjoyed this book. While the story was a familiar theme, the fake girlfriend relationship, the telling was well done and filled with emotion and humor. Narrator Angela Dawe is superb doing different voices and accents. Her changes in vocal tone really make you believe there are different characters, each of whom she brings to life. A good story and and great narration make this book a must read!

You have a fan from me!

Loved it! I read it in two days because it was that good. The faux romance is one to grab your attention to pick up the book but the complexity of the characters and their back-story is what draws you in and keeps you entertained. I love how two opposite women can come together and find that they were what each other needed... The author, Jae, is talented in her ability to describe both point-of-view in detail that holds the readers focus. I will be purchasing more books from this author...

Good but feels like story faded out

Really liked but not as much as her other books. Definitely a very slow burn with minimal fireworks

Low Angst Fake Dating

I arrived at this title from The Roommate Agreement because I wanted more and Just for Show delivered. It was fun to see how Claire and Lana got together. Both women grew in confidence in each other and their relationship over the course of the story. It made the ending sweet and inevitable that they would choose each other with no reservations.

The right voice makes the characters come alive. This is one of them! Her soft and vulnerable voice gets me every time.

i had my doubts about buying this book, recently i bought one with the story line of a fake girlfriend, the story was not bad but cant be compared with this book, .... i was never bored with this book and narrator was excellent.. i really enjoyed it, will keep looking for books from this author and this narrator.

Enjoyable story

Engaging and unusual story. Excellent narration for all characters. I appreciated the twist on values and styles. I was disappointed with the glossy, perfect ending.
