Second chances

A sweet story about second chances and at least finding love. An unexpected encounter during a blizzard on the most awful week in Amelia’s life will finally turn her luck and bring her and her nemesis in high school, Kieran. But things doesn’t always are what they seem. Great audiobook.

Well written holiday romance

Well written holiday romance. l really admired Em's fortitude and long suffering before the prince on the white horse swooped in to save her, as the saying goes.
l would have been so stressed and in tears if l were her. The narrator does a lovely job in keeping the tone of the story enjoyable and the voices suit the characters. Recommended clean romance.

Charming Christmas Romance Novella

I enjoyed this Christmas romance novella a lot. The story was delightful. The story's trope was one of my favorites. The characters were fun and engaging. I appreciated the way that misunderstanding intentions can cause difficulties. I'm looking forward to more stories in this series. Michelle Croll's narration was good, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Sweet Second Chance to Love!

This was my first M.J. Padgett's book. This is the first novella in the Life in Chatswain City Series. Amelia and Kieran's second chance to love is clean, sweet, and heartwarming. Michelle Croll did a great job with the narration. This is a cute Christmas Romance, easy to listen to. I enjoyed it. #StoryOrigin

Delightful!

Just Her Luck is the sweet and heartwarming story of Kieran Oxford and Amelia Winters. They knew each other all throughout school and Amelia remembers him as a bully. Okay, maybe he didn't actually bully her, but he sure was a nemesis! But actions can be deceiving, especially with school kids. Things aren't going well for Amelia. It's her job to get an interview with the best-selling author, Miles Preston, but she was just fired. She still needs the interview but is about to spend the night on the street where a storm is descending on the city. There are no hotel rooms left for the night and there's nothing more she can do. Suddenly, hands cover her eyes and a familiar voice says, "Guess who!" Oh, no, it's Kieran Oxford; he's familiar yet so different that it has "Ames" curious as to what he's become. Kieran is probably the kindest bbf I've read in a long time and his sweet seduction isn't as sexy as it is heartwarming. When Amelia begins to understand that Kieran has always been waiting for her, the realization hits that she's right there with him. And the surprise at the end of the book is delightful! I loved this book and the narration is beautifully done by Michelle Croll. She had me entertained and fascinated from Amelia's very first outburst!

Short and sweet

This is a quick listen but you don’t feel like you’re missing out on a full story. I really loved the whole premise of this one. It’s light and fun and the narration is done well.

Fast listen & Sweet Misunderstood Romance

Nothing like a snowed in out-of-town Christmas high school flame romance... Yes, it has a Hallmark vibe but not in a bad way. It's really sweet and refreshingly clean. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fast clean romance
