Publisher's summary

“Please find me, Thomas! Please!”

Two years ago, Dr. Gina Brady broke Thomas Prescott’s heart, but now her panic-stricken satellite phone call starts it beating again with a fury. Thugs kidnapped the good doctor from the remote jungle village where she was working, and now the retired homicide detective’s expert skills are desperately needed to save her.

Led by a colorful, but perhaps untrustworthy local guide, Prescott journeys deep into the Bolivian Amazon, plunging into a world where the only thing more dangerous than the gun-toting drug traffickers and the ruthless tribesmen, is the jungle itself.

When Gina’s trail leads to a chance encounter with an archaeological expedition, the search for the missing doctor takes on even deadlier consequences. But Prescott will not relent in this punishing quest until, once again, he holds Gina in his arms.

The books in The Thomas Prescott series can be enjoyed in any order, so grab Jungle Up and get started today.

Why not Johnny Heller?

I really enjoyed this book and the other four books in the Thomas Prescott series. There is a very good suspense as well as some very laughable sarcastic remarks. The series is narrated by Johnny Heller. When ever I hear his voice I automatically think of Prescott. Heller’s delivery of sarcasm is spot on.
Anyway, this book has a very entertaining story. It held my interest and kept me wanting more. You think you know what’s going of and the motivations of the antagonists but it changes and then again.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book.

Excellent

I really didn’t think I would like this book but i have enjoyed all of Nick Pirog’s previous books so I went for it. I’m glad I did.
Well worth a credit. Can’t wait for his next one and no one does better narration than Johnny Heller. A perfect match.

Great Work Nick!

I have quickly become an avid fan of Nick Pirog and his latest book just solidifies my admiration for his original, engaging story-telling. For those who have followed the last four books in the Thomas Prescott series, you will understand that Nick can pick up this character, place him in any scenario, and yet retain the essence of his being through his original delivery. I have also grow more appreciative of Johnny Heller's vocal talents and now associate his voice with that of Thomas...good on ya! ENJOY!

Nick Pirog is outstanding. The narration stellar. I think they all are Must Reads. Only disappointment is that there are only 5. I need more

Lots of good fun.

The Thomas Prescott Series continues to entertain.

Nick Pirog’s Jungle Up is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud funny ride through the Jungle with enticing plot lines and engaging characters.

It is reminiscent of the best of early Carl Hiaasen and Clive Cussler novels.

The story is laced with action as the ever-capable, and often heartbroken Thomas Prescott deals with drug traffickers, hostile tribes, dengue fever, corrupt officials, and a professional but scrupulous guide.

Throw in a dangerous and hostile jungle environment, an indictment of the pharmaceutical industry, an unexpected romance, a dialog that can make you laugh until you cry, and you have a winner of an adventure novel.

Johnny Heller’s narration brings the story and characters to life. Bravo.

Excellent writing

I loved the main character through this entire series. The pace of the stories was great. The books humorous and touching and interesting all the way through. Sometimes frustrating but in a very human and relatable way.
The narration was perfect. This is my favorite book series this year. Mr Heller did a wonderful job here and I’d read anything by Nick Pirog at this point.

Johnny Heller Makes This Book 5 stars

This wasn’t my favorite out of the four, but the narrator is main reason I purchasers this book.

He should’ve read the 3:10 series. His voice is the best. I goof

Somewhat far fetched

I think the author was stretching the reader to believe certain characters, in some part.
