Publisher's Summary

Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy. He's rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.

The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock-hungry "friends". Week after week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed and overlooked.

Sasquatch finally broad-shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.

Teaching her the rules for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.

Hot and sweet young love

Great narration really added to this story. This book is a college romance. What really made this story stand out to me are the descriptions of the feelings of awkwardness felt by the characters. It reminds me of being young and I experienced with life and relationships.

Jock Rule

Ok this was my favorite so far, I love how very different they are but how their friendship grew. And then it grew even more.
I just had all the happy feelings and all the smiles. I cracked up a few times too. I just really enjoyed this book. I loved that Kip was so close to his sister and that she really was a part of this story even though she was only a text.

Loved the narration both Chelsea and Jacob hit it out of the park.

I adored every second of this one!!

Sara Ney really knows how to deliver a wonderful story through and through! I loved every second of this story! I listen to A LOT of audible's and I have found that it is a lot harder to make me just so pleased when I am finished with a book and this one did it all for me! I was so happy when I was done, my heart was full and I was completely satisfied. I was a happy girl! lol okay moving on... I loved Kip SO freaking much, he is freaking hilarious, hot and broody in all the right ways and then Teddy, I adored her too! they are seriously perfect for one another. I was dying laughing the whole time it was amazing. Jacob and Chelsea were perfection together! I hope to hear them again very soon.
I highly recommend this book!!

Amazing

Normally I read a book and then listen. But this was catched me and I couldn't stop it till the end. I loved both characters and the fun moments they shared.

Just listened again. Cute story. Everything I wrote before stands. Female narrator very hard to listen to.

4-11-20
enjoyed this much more than i ever expected to. smile sat on my face from chapter 2 almost constantly to the end. this really surprised me because i almost didn't make it through chapter 1 as the female narrator killed me which is why the performance didn't rate a 5. i got used to her eventually. spoiler!! irritating part was near the end when he shaved and she was furious to learn how handsome he was. loved it when she told her so-called friend off. got it through AE but will likely be buying soon for future listening
peace

Big Foot references are a turn off

Kip and Teddy's store is really cute - not sure why she has a freak out when he shaves, but I guess it makes good theater. Love the entire story along with all the exploration - could have made a bit better V card scene, but it was all cute. Also would have liked to see her meet the sister and the parents in the actual story instead of being told it happened. The roommate confrontation was the best, but would have liked a follow-up on that as well.

Fantastically Fun Read/Listen

Sara Ney has been able to capture a subtle art of flirting, sarcastic humour and the feelings as they progress through their story.
Both Chelsea and Jacob do a wonderful job of narrating Ney’s Jock Rule. This is one book I have already read more than a few times and don’t doubt I will be reading it again.

Enjoyed it but.....

I was really, REALLY looking forward to listening to this one. There's something about the male character being the outsider - that really appeals to me, and while the story itself was enjoyable, the female narrator ruined it for me. I understand that I'm listening to teenagers - but Teddy sounded a bit whiny and immature - and that did not correlate to Teddy's character at all.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read this instead of listening to it. The only reason I kept going was honestly because of Jacob Morgan and his performance.

Uugghhh

Just no. The female narrator just doesn’t live up to Jacob Morgan. She just makes the bad writing sound as bad as it is - Whiny and annoying and juvenile.
