Sloane: I think I can safely say I’m not straight, right? Dean and I have been together six months now, and Christmas is coming up. I want to make it special for him, and I have a great idea, but it’s going to take some covert operations. Being in the army, I’m good at that, and I don’t think he suspects a thing!

Dean: Christmas with Sloane’s family will be great, if we can just get through the damn airport! I’ve met them all before, so I’m not nervous. Of course, we were just best friends then. Now, I’m the boyfriend! One thing is making me nervous. Sloane is spending a lot of time on his phone, secret texts and conversations…I shouldn’t really be worried…should I?

Dean and Sloane’s first Christmas together is funny, cozy and deeply romantic. But, of course, not all plain sailing.

this was a wonderful sequel to I'm straight right? however it would have been nice to hear more about their journey than just one Christmas vacation. I wish the narrator from the first book would have narrated this one. it was very unsettling to listen to them back to back with completely different voices and personality tones.

love this story

I enjoyed this glimpse into Dean and Sloan's lives as they visit Sloan's family for the holidays, seeing them grow into their relationship and the acceptance of Sloan's family is just what the doctor ordered and filled me with all the warm fuzzies !

These are the two characters from I'm Straight Right? but it can be enjoyed on its own without the back story. It's also not the same narrator (which was a little disappointing) but Keith Smith has done a reasonable job capturing the essence of Dean and Sloane, he does good female voices, has good inflections and rhythm and brings the story to life (I did nudge the narration speed up to 1.1x which made it much better for me, I felt the guys were coming though a littlie laid back for a couple of soldiers, especially given Dean's character rarely sits still!).

Overall, I enjoyed Jingle My Bells, it's a nice little extra to the Fort Dale series, and I will happily listen to it again.

Sloanne and Dean are heading home for Christmas. This is a continuation of their GFY book. This was such a sweet short book. I loved it. Keith Smith did a fantastic job on this one.
