His Treatment Of Luke 4

His treatment of Luke 4 was TORTURED. Get past that and the book has some good takes on things like the parables of Jesus and Jesus and women.

The early part about rooms, stables and inns was stellar.

It was fascinating hearing all the cultural things we in the west don’t think about and miss. This was very insightful and eye opening discovering the world in which Jesus knew.

i enjoyed the author presenting several Bible stories from a Middle Eastern persoective during Biblical times. The reader abd the book was easy to listen to.
