Should Be Read by a Woman

I found it disconcerting that this book was read by a man especially when it was written by a woman. I don't like listening to it now. I wish I had the option to change the voice.

Not what I hoped…

I was really looking forward to starting this audiobook at the start of the year as I had benefitted so much from reading the book “Jesus Calling”. I tried but didn’t care for this devotional. I found the reader’s male voice achingly dramatic while distractingly paired with Sarah’s words. I also found the content a twist in message: this was more about “Me” & less of Jesus in tone. At times scripture interpretation felt a bit off in Job references so that was the final straw and hit delete before February was over.

I'm not too interested in the excitement of voice

don't like narrioattor. I was disappointed in the excitement of voice of the person reading the devotion. it sounded very boring and did not grap your attention or explain things as well as others
