Ein Berliner Ehepaar wagte einen aussichtslosen Widerstand gegen die Nazis und wurde 1943 hingerichtet. Von ihrem Schicksal erfuhr Hans Fallada aus einer Gestapo-Akte, die ihm durch Johannes R. Becher in die Hände kam.
