No More Virtual Voice PLEASE!

The use of virtual voice is a complete disservice to the characters and story. The complexity of the characters personality was lost.

So many lies, so many secrets!!!!!! They both seemed to be hellbent on hurting each.

Virtual Voice ruined it

The story from the author might have been entertaining but it was totally lost by the way the virtual voice read it. Inflection was wrong in many, many places. I was irritated every time I tried to listen. I made it all the way to the end to be sure I gave it a chance and finished the book. I confirmed the narration was flawed throughout and occasionally repeated lines. For me, I will be screening all future narrations to avoid Virtual Voice.

ai narration ruins everything.

the ai narration is impersonal and dull, obviously not done by a person. the story is unlikely in a way that pulls you out of the story and feels worse since the narration reading a spicy scene is terrible. you seriously don't want to listen to a robot try to moan. most of the book is a miscommunication trope and the dialogue makes you roll your eyes. don't waste your time.

I couldn’t finish this. I feel like this is one of those clickbait stories. One reviewer called the FMC being strong but no, just no. She’s not strong, not even a little. She hides behind lies, excuses, and cowardice. MMC is a total tool who believes firmly in “You didn’t leave me. I kicked you out!” Then later, “How dare you be happy I kicked you out!” And OW is the usual needy manipulative lying b*+€h. I’m relieved I didn’t have to buy this and was able to listen (or not) as part of the audible membership.
