★★★★★ Clean and absolutely fitting! I am so glad I read this book! It was absolutely engaging and clean. Eliza Heaton did a fantastic job of staying true to Lizzie, Mr. Darcy, Kitty, and Mary's characters and certainly surprised me! I will definitely be reading this again and I am super excited to finish the rest of the series.

Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2023I enjoyed this book so much that I didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed it even more than Pride and Prejudice. The characters are well written and it has a great plot.

**There are no cliff hangers to the individual love story inside each book, but thankfully, there is a continuation of life at Pemberley in books to come. Each book is about 30,000 words and contains no cheating.

My average for all these stories is pretty close to 3.5 stars. I gave a couple of them 4 stars but the rest were all 3 or 3.5. I think they might have been better had the narration been live instead of virtual voice. Some of it just sounded trite because of the narration. The idea for the stories wasn't bad. It has been a while since I read some of these but I noted that all the Darcy's Daughter's books had very little Mr. Darcy in them. Elizabeth did all the guiding and helping with Mr D maybe entering a room once in a while but not really offering anything to the story. I think having him around more could have punched up the story a little. I also wondered at all these single people writing letters to each other. I've always thought that was considered taboo without an engagement. But the stories relied on letters quite a bit. I did like that the stories were low angst for the most part. I doubt I'll read any of them again even though I like low angst.
