This is a revised version of a book previously released in 2016.

Jakke is the same book listeners fell in love with, but with more detail and scenes added. (Now over 52,000 words.)

The Tureis invaded Earth, killing most of the population in their first attacks. Sydney found a way to survive, carefully avoiding anything alien. When she discovered an injured Azziarin lying in a dark alley, she went against every instinct and rescued him. After nursing him back to health, other Azziarins stormed her hideout, injuring her in the process.

Unwilling to allow the injured female to be left for dead, Takkeo ordered that she be brought back to their ship. She had helped him, and he wouldn’t leave her behind. How was he supposed to know that his older brother Jakke would experience the mating fever with her presence?

Jakke had no way of knowing that his younger brother Takkeo would bring a human female on board his ship. When the mating fever hit him full force, he tried to fight it. And then she went into heat.

Arriving home, he needed to explain that he had accidentally mated her, and she couldn’t return to Earth. Then he had to explain things to her — the Azziarin culture, his father King Malick, and his consorts — could they all live together in harmony? Jakke certainly hoped so!

A note to listeners: This is the culture of another planet, but there is no real cheating. Sydney would never stand for such a thing. There are sexual situations intended for mature audiences, and a happily ever after.

This is my first book by Hannah Davenport and I have to say that I am happy with my use of a credit. I wish it would have been duel narrated. Ava Kelly did a pretty good job but does not have a manly voice lol.

The characters were well thought thought out and the you meet such diverse characters. I love that. I can’t wait to continue the series because she makes them all so very interesting.

Yes this is kind of insta love/mating but also for her it grows she is drawn to him and does now know why and still plans to go home. There is many cultural mistakes/misunderstandings. This led to meeting even more characters that you love 💕 and can’t wait to know. My reason for not giving this 5 stars is because I feel there should have been more satisfaction for her getting rid of some horrid female and wish the father made things right. But I’m still excited for the next book. Please do audio for it!!!

Didn't need to be extended... It isn't just word count, it should be quality of the finished book. Narrator was okay, but made the young brother sound about 8 years old.

Lots of talking.

Great plot and narration; although a male narrator would have been nice to bring Jakke to life. Paranormal romances tend to have similarities like small human female and big alien male. I like that the human female was likeable and not obnoxious. The sex scenes were not obscene like many of the other books. The balance was just right. Looking forward to the next book!

Great Story

I really like the story. I’m a big fan of the alien romance genre but I do get fed up with the excessive sex scenes sometimes. The sex scenes in this story are less descriptive and more imaginative. The narrator did a proficient job but to be honest, I really like the narrators that are more actors then readers.
