Publisher's Summary

She’s not looking for a mate....

Sapphire is cursed. Every relationship she’s ever been in has ended poorly. So she’s sworn off relationships and is happy with her life. Until Eli comes along - a one-night stand that turned into two nights. When things got too intense, she did what she always did. She ran.

He’s not letting her get awaw....

This time Eli isn’t letting Sapphire go without a fight. When her friend needs help escaping an abusive situation, he steps up, no questions asked. It doesn’t matter that Sapphire won’t tell him why she’s holding back from him. He’s a jaguar-shifter and cats are very patient - he’ll wait for his mate to come around. But before he can claim her once and for all, they’ll have to deal with an angry bunch of shifters who are out for blood.

Jaguar's Mate

JAGUAR'S MATE A Crescent Moon Novella Book 8 By Katie Reus
This is a paranormal shifter romance, and the 8th book in the Crescent Moon series. It the story of Sapphire, a wolf shifter who is convinced she is cursed in the romance department and Eli, a jaguar shifter. He knows she is his mate after a couple of nights together, but now he has to convince her... He has time, she is on her way to help old friends that are in a bad bind and Eli has agreed to escort her to help.
Katie Reus always writes a great story. She has wonderful characters that you care about, there is drama, passion, angst and it is great to see past characters from previous books. It is always like a visit with old friends. I give this 5 stars.

Loved Book 8 !!!

Eli is still hung up on Sapphire and he is determined to make her his. Sapphire believes she is cursed in the love department and has built some pretty high walls around her heart. Can Eli tear them down? They are off on a mission to save one of Sapphire' friends daughters from some pretty bad wolves. Action-packed, sexy story... And the Narrator brought this story to life just as if you were apart of it.

Another great shifter romance!

Audiobook: Narrator –
I’ve enjoyed pretty much everything I’ve listened to with this narrator and this audio was no exception. He has a smooth even voice that is perfect in every way. There may have been a time or two it fell a bit flat, overall it was another enjoyable listen.

I both read and listened to this book because holy heck, I love a novella that can provide a full novel feel. With Sapphire and Eli having met before, this book picks up with them reuniting at a time that Sapphire is in need of backup to help a friend in need. That helps to cover all the initial getting to know you stage between the hero and heroine so when they meet again things start with a bang. I absolutely love the all alpha possessiveness that Eli portrayed even though Sapphire is as strong and independent as any wolf shifter can be. That’s one of the reasons I love shifter books.

This has a bit of excitement and action as this couple come up against a group of shifters that have endangered Sapphire’s friend. There is plenty of shifter activity so you get to see them interact in their animal forms. The relationship conflict here was believable and actually one I’d never come across before which made it all the more interesting.

This is a fast paced read that never repeated itself and holy hotness did it have steam! There were plenty of incredible secondary characters reappearing from other books but nothing that took away from this being a complete standalone.

Shifter Romance

Sapphire has sworn off relationships. She’s been hurt too many times. She’s going to live on her terms. Until she meets Eli. She likes him too much. When she runs, he follows. Their relationship crackles with tension. I enjoyed watching them spar with each other. I knew that when they went on a mission to rescue her friends that things would come to a head. I cared for both these characters. They are strong, fearless and caring. These shifters aren’t to be messed with. Katie Reus had written a strong story. It’s filled with great dialogue and an interesting setting. I enjoyed seeing these two in action. The Crescent Moon series is one of my favorites. I enjoy stories with a paranormal element. I like shifters. They are powerful and exciting. The other shifters add additional drama. Jaguar’s Mate was enjoyable to listen to. Jeffrey Kafer made these characters come alive. I like listening to an audio book. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
