A good read and a cure for frustration

Purchased on the cheap as Whispersync courtesy of ebookshabit.
Paced as fast as an Uzi and as opinionated as a locker room full of female SWAT members, this book of insights into the past of the operative known as JET is well worth the effort whether to background or predetermine one's interest in the series. Won't tell you where I fall, but it's fun for me to note that the operative and I share initials. If justified violence is you style, you will love this series!
Wright gives an excellent performance and does add to the text.

Female Mitch Rapp

If you love Mitch Rapp, you'll love the female version. She is a force that has no problem getting her hands dirty.

Prequel to the JET series about an incredible...

...female (Israeli) Mossad agent. The action is fast and furious and the suspense if intense and sustained. This is a wonderful espionage novel and first in the JET series. Braden Wright narrates superbly. Highly recommended!!

Not what I expected.

I'll be going to the checkout when I push submit here to buy the second book of Jet, originally the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed this prequel so I'm really looking forward to this next one. So why didn't I "five" out Jet-Ops Files? A handful of little things. First of all, this is probably the fourth book in the last 30 days that has had "do overs" that were not edited out so I listened to the same passage twice. Definately messes up the flow of the book, especially an action scene! I lay this at Audible's feet, not the author or narrator. The narrator did a very good job and went from soul introspection to cutting a jugular with a credit card with no problem. His emphasis and emotions were well done, not a "farm report" monotone in the book! A couple of mispronounceations but nothing drastic that takes from the book. So I'm going to spend a credit on the next Jet and hope it's just as entertaining!

JET is one BAD Chic

Love this! Great audio read, just the right amount of tension and nerves. The story is pieced together seamlessly. It's about time we had a female hero that lives to fight another day and boy can she fight and think under pressure!! Can't wait to audio the rest of the series! Go Russell Blake, you have MAD SKILLS!!
