Angry Dave Is At It Again!

Angry Dave Is At It Again... with his observations of the world.

I found the narration difficult to listen to, no matter what way I adjusted it. Mr C.has a deep voice and a lovely British accent. However, if I sped up the performance to lighten the deep voice I had a time of it with the quick British accent. I'm sure Angry Dave will appreciate my confusion as I'm a damn Yank!

I thoroughly enjoyed the telling of going to the market and his observations of men/boys running around with their pants hanging off below the buttocks. I thought it was only dumb, American boys who did that.

I felt for the poor bloke who just wanted to can of olives, but after seeing so much crack didn't have the stomach for it.

I'm sure a Brit would give it a five-star performance and story. For me, it was above average and funny when I could make out what was going on.

I warn on the language, but the content was fine.

Disappointing

content is ok-- not great like i assumed it would be, bssed on my reading a good number of pieces by barry. narration is poor. (perhaps it's my device but even after adjusting it several times, i found it difficult to become accustomed to the narrator's reading. it might be beetter if the listener is drunk, though a few anecdotes were spot on. ( if my phone had been within arm's reach while i listened, i think i would have switched to another book.)

He's back.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Possibly. I am really not sure. I enjoyed it more than book 1 but not enough to tell the world about it.

review I enjoyed book 2 better than book 1. Although he was still just having a rant he was a little more PC this time and I could still understand his frustrations. I think most people could understand the frustrations. It is a short book, perfect for a single session rather than spread over time. Worth a read or listen.

If you are easily offended or if you do not want to listen to an audiobook that contains profanity, this is NOT the audiobook for you. However, if you are a "regular" person who gets fed up with "idiots" and "morons" this book will make you laugh.

This audiobook is full of rants. Angry Dave is appropriately named. He is opinionated about just about everything.

The author and narrator is British and the rants are about aspects of English life. He rants about bosses. He rants about carparks (parking lots to those of us in Canada). He rants about unhelpful delivery men and many more topics.

His rants may be about life in England, but they are about the same things that bug people all over the developed world.

If you are looking for a quick listen that will make you laugh out loud, this audiobook is for you.

This book is brilliant. I literally laughed out loud numerous times. Dave talks (rants) about many of the same things that drive the rest of us crazy.

It's all a load of laughs...

I enjoyed book 2 better than book one. Angry Dave is back with his rants on the world, bosses, kids, parking etc... Lots of laughs here and Angry Dave points out the really dumb things people do too.

The author, Angry Dave did a good job bringing up situations that make no sense at all to normal folk and a lot of sense to a small part of our population. I found plenty to chuckle about here. Even more, Angry Dave made some very good points. The narrator did a good job delivering these rants to us. I am even getting use to the deep voice. Good job guys!

Narrator was shit. Story might be good, but difficult to understand anything. Waste of $$
