Publisher's summary

Evan Hunt had spent most of his adult life working as an environmentalist and living out of a duffle bag. It came as a total shock when his father suddenly confronted him about setting goals for his future. Evan wasn't much for following rules and his instinct was to simply ignore what his dad was saying. However, he decided it was time to set his sights on success just to prove to his family that he could do it.

And that's exactly what he did. Just when it seemed like everything was coming together, Evan was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. All his plans and dreams were put on hold, and he was forced to move home to Charlotte so his parents could assist in his recovery.

He didn't expect this detour to change his life for the better. He was so focused on sticking with his plans that he almost missed out on the love of his life.

I will miss this family!

Ahh the last of the Hunt family, I loved Evan in previous books. It took me a little to get used to the newish Evan because in other books he was such a free spirit and this book he is and isn’t.
I love the woman he becomes attracted to it was kind of perfect. Overall I liked how the series has ended. I will miss this family.
Again the narration was perfect for these characters. So glad I choose to listen.

Evan Hunt

I love the the Hunt Family series! It’s the 5th and final of the series and it was delightful. Ms. St. James knows romance and keeps it clean. I like that a lot.

Noooo its over!!

I’m so sad to come to the end of this series. But I will most definitely be reading every book I can find by this author.

I loved the family and the characters in this so much. They all felt so real, I will miss spending not spending my days with them at Myrtle Beach while I clean my house.

Evan was saved for last, but it came full circle because the woman who changed him and made him fall in love was Annabelle. Annabelle was the waitress at the diner where the first scene of the first book took place, where Diane Hunt met Paige and invited her to the beach house in hopes that she and Evan could fall in love.

Little did she know Evan’s future sweetheart was in that same diner the whole time.

I loved Annabelle. She was confident in a fun quirky way sometimes. I love that she owned a Great Dane, being a Great Dane owner myself, it’s always fun to read about them in stories, although it doesn’t happen often.

Anyway, Evan met Annabelle and then went back to California, it wasn’t until almost a year later that it hit him that he left his future behind in North Carolina. I loved that scene. I loved how once it hit him he took action. She was his and he was coming for her.

Like I said, I loved this series, I am so sad it’s finished.

A sweet, relaxing read.

This was a cute story but lacking in creativity and energy. The characters were very endearing and the scenes were nice.

The Narrator, Kate Rudd did a fairly good job in her delivery but lacked energy.
