Karen Harris, commander of Unit T, had come to the streets of London in an effort to curb the activities of an Italian cartel engaged in prostitution and abduction across Europe and beyond. Alongside this, many young homeless in the city are going missing with nothing being done about it. Karen starts investigating an agency that not only rents out companions but is involved in more-sinister operations. The interconnected problems lead to Karen going covert in an attempt to get at the truth, with an operation that pushes her and her friend, Sherry Malloy, to the limit.
Karen is about to learn the real truth concerning the fate of the missing teenagers. Even worse, she can do nothing about it. But if the truth ever became public, the revelations could shake the very foundations of civilized society - not only in Britain but across Europe.
The Trafficker series once again takes the listener deep into the very dangerous world of the criminals engaged not only in drugs but in people trafficking, which exists in every town and city. It is not for the faint hearted but nevertheless makes for compulsive listening.
Author's note: Italian Connection is the sequel to Russian Connection, but the book can be enjoyed as a standalone story.

What disappointed you about Italian Connection?
The caricature-like characters are simpletons and their dialogue is a dragWhat was most disappointing about Keith Hoare’s story?
Apart from the one-dimensional characters, I was put off by the jumps between scenarios that are hard to understand.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Gaynor M. Kelly?
Nigel Carrington.Any additional comments?
