AllieI was rejected by everyone who was ever supposed to love me and saved by a wolf in sheep's clothing--that is, until he shed his skin and revealed the true monster within. There is a raging fire not only within me but in this house. A boy shouldn't have had to save me. As his mom, that was supposed to be my job. Happy-ever-afters were a joke we were told as children in the form of stories. When I met him, I knew it was too good to be true. He deserves better than a shell of a woman. Besides, the monster has a hold on me, and he isn't letting go.

ChaseBachelorhood was the life for me. I sometimes couldn't help but wonder, though, if there was more to life for me. Maybe even someone. I had it all going for me. I even had the job I'd dreamed of since I was a little boy. When I saw those blue-green eyes, I stopped dead in my tracks. The air left my body, and I didn't know how to function anymore. I knew the second I heard her laugh that she would be the only one for me. Mine, I felt instantly. But her light was dimmed by something or someone, and I needed to know what was putting out her fire. I ate, breathed, and lived fire. I knew hers would bring me to my knees. Now I just needed to convince her I could save her. Bring her fire back. Make her see I would burn the world for her.

Great story with powerful emotions shocking twists and an end that has me waiting for book two already! Narration really captures the emotion of the MFC Definitely recommend !
