Publisher's summary

Hidden from a world unaware of magic, a recently and only partially trained group of operatives known as the Invisible Recruits are the only ones willing to stand between mankind and those powerful preternatural factions seeking to change the balance of power and gain world domination.

Alex Noziak, part witch/part shaman, anticipates facing dangerous preternaturals out for blood...not fashion week. But when the rookie agent is sent undercover to find out who, or what, is behind a series of worldwide thefts of top-secret intelligence, Alex tangles with the Seekers.

Seekers hunt gifted human individuals like Alex and her squad whose rare powers can keep the balance between human and nonhuman squarely on the side of the humans. Her simple assignment turns into a battle of survival for everyone involved when she crosses Bran, a mysterious warlock, who might be her only ally or worst enemy.

To save the innocent, Alex must call upon her untested abilities, but at what cost?

Nothing original nor worth your time!

I endured 10 hours of Alex whinnying about what a Noziak (her family) would do. She is part witch and shaman who was drafted to work with a secret group of supernatural instead of doing time in prison. There is a secret agency, Invisible Magic (IM) who drafts supernaturals into service instead of jail sentences.

It is a very flimsy story of love at first sight theme driving the plot. Alex is a reluctant undercover agent, who would rather be on assignment to find her brother instead of the catching an international thief. She drools when shown a picture of her contact for the case. So when she meets Bran they start the juvenile game of do I like Bran and does he like me? Can I trust Bran? How dare he keep that secret from me! I have a valid reason for keeping my secrets from him? Did he just walk away from me? Really? We just had sex last night that does not constitute love.

Thrown in the story are the elements of family loyalty, a few scuffles where she wins by luck instead of skill, witchy and shaman magic and that Noziak bravado that gets her hit in the head more times than not. I was cheering each time she was knocked on her butt.

Alex is on an inexperienced team where there is more hostilely than skill. Alex’s only concern is completing her assignment and going to aid her brother in spite of want the mandates of the team may be. Her other team members have supernatural skills that do not get any time. The plot and characters are too cliche for me to spend my time completing the series

This is an outstanding book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book is well researched! Its fiction with a splash of truth. How many writers know Peroxide can explode? but that's just one point, add to that some very interesting character twists, Fraco has major twist, one I did not see coming! I Listen to so much mediocre fiction a well written book shines extra bright!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Invisible Magic?

The Peroxide bomb. Nothing like a real fact in a book about Witches and Warlocks!

Which character – as performed by Susan Eichhorn Young – was your favorite?

Bran.....Men wish they could be THAT sexy!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Come on get your tickets.........chop chop!

Any additional comments?
