Waking up in a desolate cell, Gaia realizes she has been kidnapped by a human trafficking organization, doomed to be sold to the highest bidder and unable to remember anything before her capture. builds you up to let you down

When this story first started, I was excited to listen. It promised action and romance. However, the plot didn't deliver and the ending was... well it was left wanting. I have no intentions on continuing the series.

Full of twists, turns and shocking surprises

This story just blew me away! It so twisty and full of crazy turns. My notes on this story are super long! I flipping loved this story! I listened to it on audio and could not get enough. I enjoy how these characters all have multiple level to then. While I was WOWed by the intricate story(and I cant understand why everyone isn't reading this!) I do have a few issues with it. First of its a cliffhanger which are not my favorite reads. Second the narration has some blips where it seems like they were correcting an area but it doesn’t blend with the rest. Otherwise…why aren't you getting this one?

Great story!!

This is a well written story. The characters are well developed and the storyline is interesting. There are definitely some things that happen that are surprising. The narrator does a good job telling the story. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Great audio book

Holy moly! This audio book was great! I couldn’t stop listening! I was sucked in from the first and it held me the entire time. This had so many twists and turns I couldn’t fathom what was going to happen next. And that ending! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Lots of twists with deception

For a short story this book had plenty of twists and turns with plenty of deception.
The timeline was a bit confusing to start with but was definitely a good listen and will look out for book 2 when it’s out

Great story

While it was great narration and I enjoyed the story I think the world could have been fleshed out a bit more. Never the less a great fantasy with some dark twists.

Trust

Brilliant narration from Elizabeth Kelly

This book is great, dark, disturbing and absolutely captivating. Gaia was kidnapped by a human trafficking organization , she can't remember anything but her name . Gaia is "saved" by Raoul . Memories slowly return, how can she trust.

This was Really Good

I absolutely loved this book. It started out on one path and went down another. This book follows Gaya in learning who she is in the first place. When she was taken, she lost her memory and she meets new people along the way of getting it back. She also has quite the adventure and has two men vying for her attention. Them finding out she's a princess makes things more interesting. Definitely a must on the listen / Tbr.

The narrator was new to me but did an amazing job

Enjoyable

I was given a code and asked to review the book honestly.
This wasn't a book I would normally choose but I really enjoyed listening to it.
The narrator did a great job too.

The title says it

This book is a bit like an audio version of a soap opera. Characters are good... then evil (or vice verse). There is never a moment without melodrama. Everyone is where they aren’t supposed to be... and not where they should be. And you need a scorecard to keep up with who is on which side at any given time— and who knows what when.

I found the ‘romance’ parts were a bit discordant. Our heroine fell in lust all the time, but never acted on any of it for unfathomable reasons. Sort of like it’s meant to be erotica but the author didn’t want to write sex scenes... it’s hard to explain, but this one hits a weird in between where it’s all lust, not live, but no actual lust...
