Not bad!
Hayden Connors is the number one in the world golden hope of tennis and Jessica Ryder is assigned to interview him. She has a bad feeling about it because she doesn't know anything about the sport or Hayden Connors. She's told to stay clear of personal questions since he's been through a recent scandal. She can't help herself and, at the end of the interview, she asks an off-limits question. At the flip of a switch, he's kissing her and she's kissing him right back. It's a short story with a good premise, but it's too unrealistic and full of body shaming. It could be so much better.
I listened to this on audible and Maxx Pinkens did a commendable job. His voice is well-modulated and each characters is easily recognized.

Lacked Interest
This was the first book by this author. I recognize it is a novella but I felt this storyline did not keep me interested. The characters were not well developed. The words and actions of Hayden made him seem unrealistic.

Meh….
I couldn't connect to this one. He was a real jerk and very mean to heroine from the get go and due to the length of the story maybe, I just didn't get the switch to when he changed completely. He was so rude and she was so not interested at all and the sexual chemistry wasn't just coming off the page for me to have that switch.
