Amazing!!!
This best duet I have read in a long time. A well crafted story from start to finish. This story draws you in and cannot put down. One of my top reads EVER! I cannot wait to see what stories this author crafts in future.

Not what I expected
The book was not entirely what I thought it was going to be when I first downloaded it. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. I struggled to finish it because of how toxic the relationship was at times, but the ending hit me square in the chest. It was enough to make me go and buy the sequel. Not a huge fan of the backstory of these 2 characters but it sets an interesting possibility for the next book.
I'm not a huge fan of Stephanie Rose, with her quintessential female voice. It comes off almost catty at times but it wasn't too bad in this book. Cooper North did a fantastic job like normally, I just wish he had more chapters.
In other words, the book was decent for a passive read.
