This is a great cooperation between a writer and two narrators, it is the third book in the pack and I already preordered the forthcoming one. I really enjoy the story line and the MC of this book, just as the former ones. And both narrators are excellent.

Very good book!
I like this author very much. With each story, the author gets better and the plot development is better. The two main characters were excellent. Esther’s personal growth from a woman with such abuse thrown at by her son’s father was amazing and demonstrates how bullying is not with children but adults suffer it as well. Melanie started out as Esther’s mentor teacher and was drawn to Esther no matter how hard she pushed Mel away. The growth of their relationship was beautiful to see. Anthony was an adorable little boy who stole the heart of anyone who met him.

The whole book is about Skips mistreatment of Esther. And Esther's unwillingness to stand up for herself. Skip is super horrible, harassing her at school and everywhere else. Esther's scared of making him mad because she might lose her son. She finally starts standing up for herself in my opinion 4 hours too late. It's all so monotonous and sickening but you keep listening because you want to hear Skip get what he deserves. And then the book ends with absolutely no satisfaction whatsoever. I'm left totally frustrated and am now a man hating feminist.
