I have read the series and wanted to hear it narrated. The investigative portions had to surreal. Kudos Nora and hugs.

Decent story.... Ending leaves you hanging

All the ends were snipped, but the romance only happens at the very end and leaves you wanting to know the details... Same for each book. Need a fourth book just to see them settle. #romance #thriller #mystery #suspense #tagsgiving #sweepstakes #series #engaging

Not bad but could be much better

The first part of the story was just too unbelievable for me. A Doctor of Psychology who can't see malicious manipulative sister for what she is. The story gets better but the narrator doesn't do justice to the female characters. I've heard too many good readers that allow you to know who's talking just by the changes in their voice. That's not the case here. The females run together and the male characters aren't much better. All in all, I like the way Nora Roberts develops her characters and though I wouldn't rate this a 5, I think it was worth the credit.

Great story

I enjoy Nora's work very much and love the family dynamics portrayed in this series. Sure, there are pages and pages of dreamy wish fulfilment stuff - main characters are beautiful and rich, and the sex is always great. That may not appeal to all, but I appreciate the escape and spending time in the interesting, lovely places and interesting, lovely characters this writer creates. As for narration, the guy was good as a guy but, well, marginal as a female character. Still, I got over it and enjoyed the story.

Great Book, Bad Narrator

The book was great but the narrator was not. The narrator of the first two books was fantastic. It was easy to identify the differences in the characters, each had a distinctive voice, both male and female, however with this book I have great difficulty determining the differences between the characters. What a disappointment. The characters lack depth due to a bland narration

I love this book, i have listened to this wonderful Nora Roberts book again and again. It is like an old friend you never tire of hearing. thank you Nora for such a wonderful Story.

Not with the same Narrator.

How could the performance have been better?

Different Narrator. He continued to swallow in the listeners ear. Terrible editing. This is something that should have been removed. Terribly distracting.

Great story except for the...

...excessive swearing. This book is mostly about male characters, and maybe the author feels like swearing is an important part of the characters. For me is it is excessive. I like the story a lot of a family coming together and working through problems.

Inner Harbor

I enjoyed listening to this story about a man who finds love with a woman who he never expected to find. I loved the family dynamics and the need to protect those who made part of the family. I can't wait to listen to the last book in this series. The narrator did a great job reading this story.
