I wasn’t ready for all the twists

Not gonna lie…for the first 65% of this book all I could think of was the fact that Giana Mancini/Ria Singh was just too stupid to live. She lives in a world where she is basically in hiding, had been warned about the dangers of & immorality of those who should care about her, yet she trusts without fail. I spent several moments of having “smack my head” reactions. Then situations changed and she was forced to stifle the naïvety, harden up, & become a woman who was smarter about her surroundings & one with a more rigid backbone. But even with her new found femme fatale attitude & personality, she still had entirely too many moments of “I should’ve known”.

Gabriel/Zayne Morrone had learned his lesson when the government he fought to protect & respect used him as a scapegoat. Jaded and callous, he may still be the best at what he does, but he now plays by his own rules. He gets the job done at any cost & gets out without attachment. That is…until Ria became part of the job.

Vincenzo Salvatore was nothing but a business transaction with Gianna’s father, Cassius. Almost twice her age, their marriage was nothing but a type of revenge. He was a powerful man who was accustomed to the life of “what I say goes”. But when he was betrayed, control was hard to regain.

This book had so many movers and shakers in it I felt like I needed character bible. And everyone had an alias. Everyone was undercover for varying reasons and kept the plot twists coming. There were a few that I saw coming & a few that truly surprised me. I did like the way that Giana was able to find a bit of independence after she had spent so long being oppressed in varying situations. And the way that everything worked out in the end when all true identities & motives were revealed. I really wanted Zayne to get his HEA after his heartbreak with Ashrika, and I think that he gained so much more than just love and happiness.

Audiobook Review:
J.F Harding is quickly becoming one of my favorite male narrators. Antonio Amato brought the accent and delivered it with flair. Raven Rose had her work cut out for her as Giana/Ria was a very emotional character, but she tackled that role with finesse.

5 stars

This was insanely good. I listened to an audio ALC of this one and it was phenomenal. Performed by J.F. Harding, Antonio Amato and Raven Rose. Their performance was top notch. They surpassed my expectations. What a performance! I easily connected with the characters. Note: Make sure to check triggers before reading.

The twists, lies, and deception literally everything was woven so well into the story. The author does an amazing job with story execution. This story is both plot and character driven, which I loved. I devoured the audio in two days. The last half of the story had me in a whirlwind of emotions. I was shocked for a good amount of it. Highly recommend the audio!

Be prepared for anything!

Not going to give anything away in this review. I've read all the books and what a rollercoaster that dropped down the rabbit hole that will take you on one helluva ride. In this book, we finally have Zane's story. I loved him in Incognito. Then we have Ria/Gianna ( same person), bless her totally innocent heart. Zane wakes her up to desires and shreds her innocence. The love they have for another can't be broken, no matter what. Then she gets pulled in to a world where she does become indestructible. Her growth as a woman became her her power. And here comes Vincenzo. Well, I'm just not sure what to say about him without giving anything away. He is a definitely a jerk, first of all..okay, a total a$$hole, to be truthful. Lol. For me, he didn't really have any redeemable qualities. Just wait till you read the book or listen to the audiobook! So I suggest you get on this series! Lol.

I gave the performance 5 stars cause I am sure it takes hours to get an audiobook done. The narrators did great with their own assigned character but not as well in the other characters. Just my opinion.

Great listen overall though.

Phew😈

The audiobook version of Indestructible is an intense roller coaster. From THAT prologue to the unexpected twists and turns, it was a wild freaking ride. The slow burn romance between Zayne and Ria (Gianna) made me love him just that much more🖤

There are many trials, tribulations & tests that Giana was put through and they all kept me hooked. Indestructible deserves a solid five stars for its captivating storytelling, and the audiobook narration added an immersive element to the experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a thrilling and unpredictable journey.

Powerful, Intense and Unexpected (in the best way)

Book 4 in the series and best enjoyed in sequence, with minimal exposure to plot information/spoilers. Come in with an open mind and go with the flow. But please please please check your content warnings. This one has a lot of stuff going on and if you're not ready for it, it could be a lot. I needed to take a couple of breaks along the way, but it really was a fantastic experience that I will not forget.

This one focuses on Zayne (previously featured in Book 2 Incognito with an appearance in Book 3 Infallible), Ria/Gianna and Vincenzo. The story evolves over 10 years starting when Gianna is 17 years old.

This story was incredibly powerful and intense. The emotions, the situations, the plot twists, I was very involved all the way through. My pulse raced, my gut clenched and my heart broke. Multiple Times! Some of the reveals I suspected over time as we moved through the story lines, but some were like a bucket of cold water to the face. I absolutely love when and author is able to surprise me with a plot and I am completely blown away when an audiobook gets physical reactions out of me.

The audio for this one was performed by Raven Rose, JF Harding and Antonio Amato. JF reprised his role from Book 2 as Zayne but Raven and Antonio were both new to me. The performance on this was fantastic. Raven blew me away. This story really is all about Gianna's journey and as such Raven was center stage. She went from an innocent young girl, to a Mafia queen (strong, cold and angry) but the path to get there went through tragedy and heartbreak. JF is great, he's protective and dominant but also has a core to him that is all about justice and saving those that need it. Antonio is gruff as the enigmatic mafia don Vincenzo. It's his way or... um yeah, there's only his way. He's in charge and he's hard and life has shaped him in ways that you can't imagine until all the pieces are laid out.

This book was a puzzle and when you start to connect all the pieces, you realize it is nothing that you thought it was going to be.

I requested and was provided with an advance copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.

Holy Heck, Audio Gods!!!

Holy Heck, Audio Gods!!!

Indestructible is a mind-numbing crazy as sin, trilling, and sexy-as-sin audiobook!
My emotions were all over the place with this bad bad boy.
At one point I just wanted to throw my iPhone across the room in defiance!
Oh, the tears were harsh.  But so worth it because the plot was so intricate and sexy as sin hot!
These narrators J.F. Harding, Antonio Amato & Raven Rose were just remarkable. Their narration left me on an audio high!

A Definite Rollercoaster Of A Ride

Indestructible absolutely destroyed me. This story was more than I ever imagined it to be.

This story surrounds Zayne, Gianna, and Vincenzo. Three very different worlds that collide.

Book 4 gives us Zayne Morrone. This enigma captured my interest from the beginning. His past shrouded in mystery just like the man itself. But his past is his strength. He just wasn’t expecting the beauty of Gianna to capture his very being. And just when he thought life was perfect, it all vanished.

Our heroine goes from an innocent to a woman to be reckoned with. Her strength and determination were unwavering.

And Vincenzo, he was a man with many sides. Deadly and determined.

Their story spirals and spirals. It had a beginning but no end it seemed for these characters.

I suggest going in blindly and with no reservations or preconceived thoughts or emotions. But just so you know, this is not anything you are expecting.

The narrators, JF Harding, Antonio Amato, and Raven Rose, gave the story depth and feeling. They were able to portray the anger, longing, hurt, and determination of the characters. While an emotional rollercoaster, I was still able to feel a connection to the characters.

It’s all a big surprise!

Indestructible, the fourth installment in the Serendipity Series, is a five-star audiobook that will take you on an unpredictable journey. The writing style of Charlene Namdhari is the epitome of a love triangle that cannot be pulled apart. The characters in this story live and love fiercely, creating a connection that will survive anything. The narrative intertwines the past, present, and future in such a profound and unexpected way that you won't be prepared for what unfolds.

What makes this book even more remarkable is that it allows you to know Zayne from Incognito #2 on a more intimate level. You'll get to understand his demons, his past, and what shapes him as a person. The trio of characters in this story is powerful, each playing an essential role in the lives of the others. The narrative flows steadily, with a touch of mystery and what-ifs, making it the most unexpected tale in the series. And the ending? It couldn't have been any more perfect.

The narration performance by J.F. Harding and Antonio Amato adds another layer of brilliance to this audiobook. They bring the characters to life, capturing their emotions and complexities flawlessly. The feelings they convey will tug at your heartstrings, making the roller coaster ride of this story even more captivating.

Indestructible is a true love story in all its dimensions. It delves into battles, losses, misconceptions, hurts, and triumphs, culminating in the ultimate downfall of the devil. This audiobook will keep you hooked from beginning to end, leaving you in awe of the powerful storytelling and impeccable narration. Prepare yourself for a journey with Zayne that you won't soon forget.

OMG!!

I didn't know what to expect. But when I think Charlene can't surprise me any more, she keeps doing it again and again. I loved this book. Narration was amazing. Why aren't we talking about this series more?

Wild end to a series

Seriously, this book was a wild end to this series. It's so much longer than the other books because there is SO MUCH MORE story. More twists, plotline flips, etc.
Honestly, there were times that I was a little overwhelmed at how some of the story overlapped and doubled back. You really have to pay attention to make sure you don't miss any little detail or you will be left wonder what the hell you missed.
By the end of the book, I felt like I had been on a REALLY long rollercoaster ride. Kind of ready to get off of it, but still enjoyed the ride. I still would highly recommend this book and this series. It was an intriguing storyline and most of the characters were very likeable.

The voice actors did an amazing job on this one. I was immediately drawn in and immersed with the quality of their voices for the characters.
