In the Vault

Award-winning narrator Mike Vendetti takes us to the New England town of Peck Valley, where George Birch, undertaker, finds himself trapped in the vault where coffins are stored during winter for burial in the spring. Birch has become quite lax and indifferent in his treatment of those harvested by the Grim Reaper and entrusted to his care. Unfortunately for Birch one of these corpses is that of Asaph Sawyer, a man of whom stories were told of almost inhuman vindictiveness and tenacious memory for wrongs real or fancied.
