#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed.

His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk.

A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

Although the performer seems to try his best, the story is flat, uninteresting. Almost feel like I was in the accident and can’t quite get interested in what is going on. Hope this is just a hiccup and we will get our usual catchin Reacher story next time.

Most uninteresting Reacher I listened to

Very complex. Unnecessarily so. Not a very engrossing story. Went on forever. So much detail that I often lost my place.

Nothing special

Not my reacher

In “Ink Too Deep,” it’s evident that since Andrew Child took over co-authoring duties, Jack Reacher has lost the essence that once made him so compelling. For long-time fans like myself, Reacher has always been a complex figure: deeply flawed, but driven by a strict personal code that made his actions, no matter how brutal, understandable and even justified in a twisted way. This book, however, portrays a character that feels unmoored, unrecognizable, and lacking the consistent motives and moral framework that defined him. Instead of the Reacher we know and respect, we are presented with a stranger in his place.

Very average

I don’t know what it was, but this book, for me, just wasn’t as good as the previous novels. I do have tremendous admiration for the skill of writing that belays the need for crude language and sex scenes. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific about why I didn’t enjoy this book as much. I think I just missed the old Robin Hood.

Didn’t quite get there

Good Story line, sometimes hard to keep up. Reader is known for a lot of good books, but this isn't one of them. Too hard to tell who's talking and keep track of story. reader makes everybody seem angry. otherwise Reacher said nothing!

It is just not Reacher A story based on making phone calls to ask for help is someone else’s character.

Nothing, that’s the problem

Good job, Andrew. Oh yeah, you too Lee. I could feel a different vibe, pacing in the flow, especially early in the story. Usually the story unfolds a bit slower and doesn't feel threachere need to make each situation so clearly explained. Reacher, even concussed, seemed more open, obvious in his willingness to accept his situation. My relationship with Reacher felt strained, not normal. It turned out well, even though I felt Knight was too good to be true and was, somehow going to surprise Reacher, as a bad actor.

Reacher books are comfort food. We know the good guys (Reacher) and the bad guys (practically everyone else...mostly men) and it is super comforting. He likes coffee, he travels light and somehow manages to stay in top physical condition by just walking around. (if only....). I am not going to lie, I watch him on TV and I buy each new release, but maybe, just maybe he could inch himself closer to the 21st century. How does he renew his license? :)

Reacher needs a cell phone..

I've read all the books and this was an awesome spin on reacher and his attributes while limiting him physically

Good story overall

Unique to past stories
