#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A gripping Jack Reacher thriller from the bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

Reacher had no idea where he was. No idea how he had gotten there. But someone must have brought him. And shackled him. And whoever had done those things was going to rue the day. That was for damn sure.

Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there.

The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed.

His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk.

A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

Story line is so slow. The reading over dramatic. Hard to keep up with all the conversations

Yawn

A rather tedious book in my opinion. The book just seemed to go on and on.

Rather rambling

I kept thinking, this just doesn't sound like reacher... I've read and listened to the entire series and this one just felt clunky. I was excited to hear the series would continue beyond Lee Childs' stepping back/retiring (?), but this book missed the mark. Scott Brick is amazing, hands down, but even his performance couldn't keep me from questioning who this new Reacher character was.

Had this been a totally different lead character, not Reacher, I may have written a different review.

Clearly a different writer

Was eager for the next Reacher book, but was quickly disappointed and found that I was not looking forward to resuming my listening to the book. Plot was not well developed, seemed confusing, and the characters were not easy to like or dislike. Really bothered by the reading by Scott Brick who has been great in so many other books... he made every sentence seemed way too dramatic, like it should have an exclamation mark after it; seems like a small point, but to me it was really tiring. Overall, this was by far the least enjoyable book in the Reacher series.

Confusing plot, over dramatized in the audio.

I have read or listened to every single Reacher books. These last few havent been that great. I really miss Dick Hill narrating Scott Brick is Ok but Dick Hill was so much better. These last few books seem to be missing something. I started listenig to Jack Widow and that seems more Reacher than Reacher.

Not Great
