#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Jack Reacher will make three stops today. Not all of them were planned for. The “blockbuster” (Esquire) new Jack Reacher thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child, featuring “the best villain yet” (USA Today)!

Don’t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!

First—a Baltimore coffee shop. A seat in the corner, facing the door. Black coffee, two refills, no messing around. A minor interruption from two of the customers, but nothing he can’t deal with swiftly. As he leaves, a young guy brushes against him in the doorway. Instinctively Reacher checks the pocket holding his cash and passport. There’s no problem. Nothing is missing.

Second—a store to buy a coat. Nothing fancy. Something he can ditch when he heads to warmer climates. Large enough to fit a man the size of a bank vault. As he pulls out his cash, he finds something new in his pocket. A handwritten note. A desperate plea for help.

Third—wherever this bend in the road takes him. Impressed by the guy’s technique and intrigued by the message, Reacher makes it his mission to find out more . . .

Reseñas de la Crítica

“Thirty books in, and Reacher is still as sharp, relevant, and unstoppable as ever. What I love most about him is that mix of simplicity and strength—he’s a man who lives by his own code, never afraid to throw a punch when it’s called for, and he doesn’t wait around for backup—he just gets the job done. It’s an honor to help bring this iconic character to life on screen while the books keep thrilling readers around the world.”—Alan Ritchson, star of REACHER on Prime Video, in People

“The Reacher books are an art form unto themselves . . . [Child] trusts his story and his character—and he trusts us, the reader—and every chapter of the book is its own adventure. . . . Now, with Exit Strategy, we have the 30th Jack Reacher thriller, and it’s a blockbuster.”Esquire

“Consistency is key. . . . [Exit Strategy] has the best villain yet.”USA Today

“Exactly what fans of the long-running series want . . . features one of the series’ most interesting villains . . . it’s sure to please.”Booklist

Needlessly complicated story. All of the voices seemed similar and constantly emphatic at inappropriate times. Not the best Reacher

Not his best

Love the way it was consistent with reacher style and how he likes to help people. And current day. There was no love interest in this novel so maybe next year?

Title not refilled until the last sentence of the book … clever

Were used to then all being the same. It’s fine. It’s not awful. The ending is okay but not quite satisfying.

I really hate that his brother is doing some and we don’t know how much each is doing.

Just the next Reacher slop

Finish the book out of loyalty, having read all the books in the series. But the last couple books have definitely been less interesting, with our in plot or in character.

Not as good as it used to be

Just finished reading “Exit Strategy,” the 30th book in the Reacher series. In this installment Reacher finds himself in Baltimore, intending only to pass through. His plans change when he stops to help a fellow veteran, and, as always, that decision pulls him into a fast paced story filled with action.

I listened to the audiobook from Audible, which runs nine hours and forty eight minutes. Scott Brick delivers a strong narration that suits the pace and tone of the novel. Even so, I cannot help but miss Dick Hill, who was the voice of Reacher from the beginning until his retirement. Hill’s narration defined the character for me, and while Brick is excellent, Hill will always be Reacher in my mind.

good story
