An excellent continuation

This really brings the story to life. Laugh out loud at times, tears at others.

Loved it!

Loved it! I can’t wait to be able to read the next one. I was able to enjoy the different voices for the characters and loved Octavius’ voice in both forms!

Loved it

I loved this book. Lance West voice really brings these characters and story to life. Octavius Evander and his crew are back with more cases. Cases about a murder and land dispute, Cormac's missing brother and finding Turney's missing heart. Will they solve all the cases and come out of it unscathed?

Wonderful series

I loved this book, it has things going on all the time, but the not so pleasant things the crew encounters does not drag on. I enjoy all the characters and the world and different creatures that we meet along the way. Octavius and his eccentricities continues and how all the other characters find him lovable and exasperating at the same time. The dynamic is great, the story is interesting, wonderful writer and I just love this series. Narrator is excellent too.

This series has been absolutely amazing, and it continues to get better! loved the characters, and the narrator does a fantastic job! I can't say enough good things!

Love this one so much!

I love this series so much! The characters are amazing and we get to learn even more about octavius’ past. And we get more adorableness between Turny and Octavius. I can’t get enough of this series and this world. I want so much more and definitely want to kick a certain jerk’s ass. As always there is a lot of glitter and adorable little bat moments. The narrator as always also did an amazing job!

I just love them!

If you loved Octavius and Turney in the previous books they just keep getting better. I know it gets rough when there’s a series with the same main characters, but this series has been done really well and has the perfect balance of plot and romance.

I will say that the one thing in this book that threw me off a little bit was the F/F. It’s listed in the synopsis but maybe I thought it wouldn’t be as big as it was? It wasn’t bad by any means, I just wasn’t prepared for it.

Lastly, Lance West. I think I’ve only heard him in this series and I think that’s a miss for me. He’s amazing. This has a large group of characters and the fact that I know exactly which character is speaking at all times makes this series such a joy to listen to.

This was such a fantastic read. Oh, and the narrator was great, I really liked the way the narrator voiced some of the characters, and the accents were pretty good, too.
