Great

This was a great shifter romance and I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Plenty of things going on in this story to keep you entertained.

Adorable shifter story

This was just an adorable book. I listened to the first book and was hoping Jake and Fred’s story was next in line. Fred is a fox shifter, who is running from her past, while Jake is a jovial bear shifter who has been searching for his mate for quite some time. Sometimes all you need is some interfering and a touch of jealousy to make your move ;)

This is a stand alone but I would encourage you to read or listen to the first book in the series.

Jake finds his mate

Jake is ready to find his mate, growing up in Alaska the population is sparks and the odd of finding her there are slim. When he hears of a dude ranch in Wyoming that caters to shifters, it looks like a great place to start.

When he meets Fred the fox shifter that is the cook at the ranch, he knows she is his mate but she seems to keep avoiding him. What he does not know is she is hiding from her uncle.

When danger comes for Fred, Jake will do everything he can to protect his mate.

Impressing His Mate!

This is the second story in the "Crescent Canyon" shifters romance. It is a fairly short and quick read/listen. I listened to this story on Audible and found the narrator did an exceptional job. The story is about fated mates Jake, a bear shifter, and Fred, a fox shifter. Braden, an Alaskan bear shifter and his cousin, Jake, have been unsuccessful finding mates. It is suggested they visit the ranch. Braden finds his mate and Jake is very certain he has found his as well. If only he can tell her. I enjoyed their story and the chemistry between them. There is a little bit of mystery and suspense in this story. I like his sweet gift to her.

Nice story.

This is the second book in the series but it does work as a standalone. In this one, Fred, a fox on the run, is in hiding. She's been welcomed by the sisters but the one that really wants to welcome her is bear shifter Jake who knows Fred is his mate. But Fred is on the run and her past is about to catch up with her. Only Jake can save her. Likable characters and an easy read. Jake hasn't had any trouble talking to females, until Fred and suddenly he can't get a word out. Fun read.

Bear gets his mate

Story: Sweet romantic story of Jake (H), a bear shifter, who comes to a Wyoming ranch for a vacation where he meets his mate, Fred (h). Jake and Fred both secretly realize they're one another's mates but are both somewhat insecure in revealing their feelings for one another. Fred is hesitant to become involved with Jake as she has a secret in her past that threatens her wellbeing and the life, she's made for herself as the ranch's cook. Then a stranger, as well as family, shows up at the ranch - there's some ups and downs, but Fred and Jake work together with family and friends to get their HEA.

Audio: Single narrator audio using different voices for different characters. I was fine with the female voices, but just didn’t care for male characters.

Good book

I loved listening to this book. The narrator was easy to listen to and the book was full of drama and some danger. But Jake and Fred manage to finally admit they're mates and put an end to Fred's uncle plans of an arranged marriage. Love this series!.

Great Addition to the Series

This was a great addition to the series. The characters and story line were well written and entertaining. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life and made this a fun story to listen to.

Jake and Fred

Just a tip, while this series is a stand alone if you read this first there are spoilers to the ending of the last.

Fred is a fox shifter with a secret past she's running from. It is not a good time to find your fated mate. How ever fate does not seem to give any f's lol.
Jake is a bear shifter who works on the grounds and helps with the animals.

Love the voice actor for this series! So sweet and shows everyone has insecurities. Plus sometimes people can understand and help you with out making you feel less then.

Enjoyable

This is the second book in Crescent Canyon Shifter series following Jake and Fred. From the beginning you get that Fred is hesitant to be around Jake. I really enjoyed how their story unfolded. The beginning was a bit slow for me. The narrator, Laurie West, did an outstanding job and brought this story to life.
