Great

This was a great shifter romance and I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Plenty of things going on in this story to keep you entertained.

Adorable shifter story

This was just an adorable book. I listened to the first book and was hoping Jake and Fred’s story was next in line. Fred is a fox shifter, who is running from her past, while Jake is a jovial bear shifter who has been searching for his mate for quite some time. Sometimes all you need is some interfering and a touch of jealousy to make your move ;)

This is a stand alone but I would encourage you to read or listen to the first book in the series.

Jake finds his mate

Jake is ready to find his mate, growing up in Alaska the population is sparks and the odd of finding her there are slim. When he hears of a dude ranch in Wyoming that caters to shifters, it looks like a great place to start.

When he meets Fred the fox shifter that is the cook at the ranch, he knows she is his mate but she seems to keep avoiding him. What he does not know is she is hiding from her uncle.

When danger comes for Fred, Jake will do everything he can to protect his mate.

Impressing His Mate!

This is the second story in the "Crescent Canyon" shifters romance. It is a fairly short and quick read/listen. I listened to this story on Audible and found the narrator did an exceptional job. The story is about fated mates Jake, a bear shifter, and Fred, a fox shifter. Braden, an Alaskan bear shifter and his cousin, Jake, have been unsuccessful finding mates. It is suggested they visit the ranch. Braden finds his mate and Jake is very certain he has found his as well. If only he can tell her. I enjoyed their story and the chemistry between them. There is a little bit of mystery and suspense in this story. I like his sweet gift to her.

This is the second book in the series but it does work as a standalone. In this one, Fred, a fox on the run, is in hiding. She's been welcomed by the sisters but the one that really wants to welcome her is bear shifter Jake who knows Fred is his mate. But Fred is on the run and her past is about to catch up with her. Only Jake can save her. Likable characters and an easy read. Jake hasn't had any trouble talking to females, until Fred and suddenly he can't get a word out. Fun read.
