Vampire Mates and Witch Curses

Above and beyond the fantastic story written by the author, the narrators do an absolutely amazing job with this story. Flowing seamlessly back and forth and meshing together, both are a delight to your ears and add in the extra sounds like sighs and moans to make it very life-like. This was my first story in the Midnight Coven world and I will definitely be looking up more. In this book, just as Claire's heart stops beating, Brandt's starts signaling that she is his mate. Her resistance at first leads to some great back and forth banter. The attraction between them keeps drawing them together resulting in some sizzling scenes. But Claire's headstrong stubbornness to accept their connection sends her running in the midst of her bloodlust, causing the chain of events that bring danger to their safe haven. A Blackthorne vampire and a coven of witches just might be their salvation and they make a surprising discovery along the way to their HEA.

Loved every minute of this

Brandt and Claire, they broke my heart, then mended it, and got things all steamy! I loved following their story, especially after their semi cliffy for their part of the story in Forever Claimed! I am so glad that they got their own story too, though it is shorter than I would have liked, but that's just because I'm greedy and always want more, especially with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross as the narrators! I love their voices for all the characters! I can't wait to see more characters from this series get their own book!

Wow! Hot, sexy Vampires!

Let me start by saying that I don't normally listen/read paranormal, and vampires are not usually my thing. I grabbed this one because I have enjoyed several other Kim Lorraine books and wanted to give it a try. I picked this one because it is a stand alone and it was short. Turns out I loved it and will probably be diving into more of this genre in the future.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott's chemistry is off the charts. I loved how they played off each other. I felt each of the emotions being conveyed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

THE MATING 💕💞

This is my first book of the Vampire Mates series, so we're starting straight to the point where vampire Brandt is waiting for the turn of Claire who was on death door when he's able to save her 😳
She takes it like a piece of salt, well that is until she feeds from someone else which makes her NEED him, which is in 1 way ecstatically fantastic but then it's the worse as she becomes ill.
So the mating between these 2 is very quick, intense & 'SCALDING HOT'.....

This short novella is part of the Vampire Mates, a Midnight Coven Collection. Brandt and Claire's story is fast-paced, suspenseful, fun, sexy, and twisted. I love the ending. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed listening this story. If you like this story, I recommend you also read Forever Claimed and Blood Captive. Kim Loraine never disappoints.
