Bruce! Bruce!! Bruce!!!

I would say that Bruce Sentar is a great story teller. Making Isaac the storyteller, there were no distractions from his abilities.

The story is balanced and the way Bruce tells the story, you know that it is coming and still be surprised when it comes.

I love the way he gave Isaac these abilities without making him go through unnecessary suffering like most authors do. Like, most of us read these books to escape the reality of our daily lives and having someone that achieved it all by fate and hardwork is satisfying.

I can't wait for the next one.

Man I like these books. I like the stories and characters. The action, cultivation and world building is just right. The narration is done very very well. Enjoy

So over all amazing story, but for fuck sake why does every mc have to fall into the trope of being pants shittingly stupid about relationships for the soul purpose of progressing a plot point that isnt even that serious.

like a comepletely uncharacteristic bout of pants shittingly stupid whiny ass lness over weather or not hes gonna help some one out.

First off… WOW! The last 3ish hours read like what would be considered three SOLID endings by themselves but they’re just back to back to back! 👍😂 also read Sentars series “The First Immortal” before this book, even better before this series. There’s sweet references and connections. Killed it Bruce! Thanks!

Loved it... But

While I enjoyed the book quite a bit, actually listened to the whole thing in a single sitting, I wish that it was longer. Parts seemed overly stretched while others far too short.

great ending

I genuinely loved the last 40ish min of the book and the way it brought so many things together.
I look forward to seeing how the next book progresses!

This was another great book in the series. If you loved the first four books you will definitely enjoy this one as well.
