Publisher's summary

Questions about color, race, and migration permeate the very fabric of our consciousness - including the workforce.

Several commentaries on fostering diversity and inclusion, in the workforce, have been penned. However, most of these commentaries focus on what employers can do to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

This leaves a lot of questions unanswered - especially as it pertains to the migrant’s response and responsibilities to succeeding in an ever diverse labor force.

This audiobook attempts to answer these questions by proposing seven transformative principles (with true-life stories and lessons) - that will help steer the listener to forging a practical plan of action for navigating the gnarly waters of corporate America.

AN IMMIGRANT BIBLE!

I enjoyed every second of it! Love love love Obi’s simple and practical suggestions on how to succeed away from “home”. I also enjoyed his use of proverbs and personal stories. We all have similar stories and it’s wonderful to see the power of perseverance.

A must read for immigrants!

Loved it!

Well narrated and insightful. Some of my favourite sections included the African proverbs and short anecdotes exemplifying the principles discussed.
