DYNAMIC

As a former manager and now leader of a team, this book simplified and clarified what my road to success will be. It will take courage to implement processes and systems to create our dynamic culture, but we will be bold and accomplish this greatness!

One of the best business books I’ve read!

This book is by far the best book I’ve ever read about culture and it’s also one of the best business books I’ve ever read. I highly recommend this book for entrepreneurs, CEOs, pastors, coaches and anyone else who is building a team to do anything.

Fix it. the sound stop working

I love the book, finished it. in going back to listen again, there is no sound. All my other books work. This one stopped. Audible please fix this. I need my book back.

It’s not for me

I was excited to find this book because I really want to develop the culture at my company. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the guide I was wanting.

The entire book is hypotheticals and generalities. I need to know what other real companies have tried and what real, actual, solutions they tried, and the problems they ran into. What really worked and what didn’t. I don’t want trite examples at Microsoft and Apple either unless the author was actually there to tell the story how it happened.

If I’m going to learn about company culture, I want to hear the author tell me what he has personally tried and done in his own company.

I want to hear detailed stories from the author’s actual life experience. I was left with just philosophical, high level information. I want to hear from someone in the trenches, and the author may in fact be that person, but I didn’t hear that.

I guess, in a short phrase, the book was all “tell” and no “show.” I liked his book The Dream Manager. It was a cool concept and a good story to explain it. But now after reading this book, it makes me wonder if this author has actual experience managing teams of people. The Dream Manager was a great concept but it was a fictional, hypothetical story. Since this story contains no real stories either, it makes me wonder who I’m learning from. I just don’t know in the end.

That’s my personal review, but it’s just one opinion. It may be great for someone else.
