Love This Series

I’m looking forward to the third installment, as the first two books have been great

Enjoyed the first book

This one was ok. Prefer the narrator from the first book, this narrator sounded like she was reading.

I love the story! need a new narrator!

Sometimes the narrator talks as if she's a robot herself and it's quite frustrating. Some of the sentences sort of bleed together and you don't know if things are being said to another person or if she's thinking in her own mind. The lack of emotion portrayed through the narrator sort of makes the story confusing at times.

Its OK Glad for continuation of the story tho

Glad for the continuation of the story, but this one is missing something. Its kind not as good as the first book. The narrator is mechanical in her reading, almost computerized in some places.

BEN!

I love Ben, I love how her relationship with her brother helps sort of unravel and reveal all kinds of things about the story and world that they live in. Can't wait to find out how the rest of their story unfolds!

a fun adventure story

it's action-packed some romance and a fun read. I would recommend it to all ages.

Decent Dystopian story, but narration issues

I listen to a LOT & i’m always up for a good dystopian story. I enjoyed the first well enough so I just continued, I almost couldn’t make it through this because of the over enunciation of this reader. Her voice and tones are fine, but OMG completely over the top with enunciating. Please Brittany Goodwin, i’m sure that you are absolutely lovely & I do like your voice, but please stop pronouncing absolutely every syllable of every word, just let the words flow - that was really difficult to listen to and I feel awful for feeling the need to warn others, i’m so sorry. If others disagree, please feel free to comment also! This was just my opinion.

Omg, I just finished this book and man I need the next audiobook in my hands now. Haha
So good!! I love how this series so far has been a clean YA dystopian series. Don’t let the YA scare you away!!
When you escape a world that has lied to you and you go into another faction can they be trusted? Who can you trust in the end. Must read. Pick it up.

The narrator was okay. She sounded almost mechanical and she did enunciate each syllable to the point that it was taking away from the story for me.
