Story
Mayim Bialik was the child star of the popular 1990s TV sitcom Blossom, but she definitely didn't follow the typical child-star trajectory. Instead, Mayim got her Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA, married her college sweetheart, and had two kids. Mayim then did what many new moms do - she read a lot of books, talked with other parents, and she soon started questioning a lot of the conventional wisdom she heard about the "right" way to raise a child. That's when she turned to attachment parenting.

Highly recommend for first time dads
I would recommend this book to any first time dads.
I had feelings of excitement but worry when I was told that I was going to be a dad at first. I was worried about what to plan for so I did research on what to read or study so I can be prepared and I came across this book when researching. I’m glad I did as it provided a simple and clear guideline on what to expect and plan for each month during my wife’s pregnancy and beyond.

every man's companion for such a time as this
This is a great book that simply supports the idea that learning from those who've done it before will help a great deal. Being a person with four kids, I support this idea too. But being a dad is complex and each child just is different. Each pregnancy is different and the way your wife acts will be different in some parts. If you are about to be a dad, this is a book for you! Listen and listen well. Your experience may be different but usually, not too far from what this book tells you. However, there are some major points that will not be different such as knowing your schedule may change, because your life is about to change...for good! So, read/listen to this great, helpful book that is every man's companion for such a time as this.

I Am Your Father
If you are an expecting father or plan to have kids one day, this audiobook is a great tool to have especially if you don't know what to expect. The author goes over all the fears one could have as well as concerns that any new parent may be feeling. The author lays out what to expect on a month-to-month basis during the pregnancy so it won't surprise you at all.
The author details his and his wife's obstacles during the pregnancy which makes it more personable. Having a Babymoon sounds like a great idea as it allows the parents to become closer or more intimate. Just a heads up though, that could mean baby number 2 :)
The narrator does a great job at presenting the information clearly and also mentions the vernacular so the listener knows what to expect and doesn't assume that they know anything off the bat. Highly recommend this to any first-time or soon-to-be dad.

Well-Written and Narrated!
This is a must-listen for all expecting dads! The author does a great job of breaking down the pregnancy journey and explaining what happens each month and what his partner is going through. He offers tips on how to be a supportive partner, which is so important. I loved the personal anecdotes from Nigel about his experience when his wife was pregnant with his first child. The narrator is a perfect fit as well and was pleasant to listen to!

Construct yourself to be a super dad.
Nine months of pregnancy is crucial for a mother as well as for a father too. A positive pregnancy test carries too much joy for both partners, but along with this it also carries some difficulties.
Mothers need to take care of themselves as well and a lot of burden is also put on the shoulders of a first-time dad.
All men need to go through this masterpiece so that they can learn to handle their emotions as well to make preparation for arrival of a new baby, so that you can be a super dad and a super husband.

A GREAT GUIDE FOR FIRST TIME DADS
This is a comprehensive manual for new fathers. It offers specific facts that can assist a guy in comprehending what his wife is through at this pivotal period in her life. I enjoy how the author breaks down the jargon for each month to make it easier for the anxious first-time dad to understand. Particularly noteworthy is the author's attention to detail, as seen, for instance, in the section on what to pack for the hospital, which includes a sleep mask, toiletries, a phone, and a charger to transmit images of the newborn to loved ones. This little text covers every little nuance.
A well researched informative guide that covers everything any new fathers should know. Common fears, birthing techniques, preparation, detailed outline of each month, and so much more. Any new dad needs to give this book a listen to have a lot smoother of a ride.
The narrator did justice to the topic, and it helped while understanding every crucial point.

Make the Fatherhood Journey easy
I loved this book as I got to listen to new and interesting information about married life. Although it's a universal thing for a couple to be parents in this book, the author has well explained how a husband should behave with his wife.
I consider the journey of being a father the same as a mother for the first time, so this book is a source of inspiration and encourages husbands to play their best role.
I am sure that this will help all fathers because of the aestheticism used by the author and well narrated. Especially the easy and clear diction is the best thing in it.

getting ready to be a dad
indeed i feel so overwhelmed with the idea of being a dad, and the life of a father is definitely not going to be easy.
for example you need to handle the change of role within yourself, and don't forget there are many things you need to know, consider, and prepare to help your partner through pregnancy. i think this book can serve as the dad coach by your side who can truly help you through the entire process.
i benefited greatly from this book. and i hope you find it valuable too.

An invaluable guide for every new dad
This is a holistic guide for first-time dads. It contains detailed information which can help a man to understand what his partner is going through during this special time in her life.
I like the way the author lays out the vocabulary for each month, making it more digestible for the nervous first-time dad. The author’s attention to detail is particularly noteworthy, for example, what to pack for the hospital - including a sleep mask, toiletries, phone, and charger to send pictures of the newly born to friends or family. Every minute detail is covered in this succinct text.
