Lifetime energy!

PSA to the Author because you write a disclaimer explaining the book is different from your normal style doesn’t mean the readers won’t have opinions.. setting it up stating be open minded made me almost not want to finish.
This was a good read, definitely giving Lifetime movie, I was annoyed with Ebony not giving her husband grace but again understandable. Winston always shows up and shows out! J.Y. Kora, definitely a vibe and wish she was Ebs narrator. Erica Lynne, no enthusiasm in her voice.

Family over everything

This put through it but in the best way. I was drawn in from the beginning and couldn’t wait to see how the story ended. I was rooting for evenie and her husband from the beginning cause you could just see the connection and love they had for each other even after being separated for 10 years. A love the strong never dies and I was happy Tyrion finally got it together and followed his heart.

A gripping, emotional roller coaster. Thrilling from start to finish. I couldn’t stop listening. Not just any love story, so twist and turns. A beautiful binge-worthy experience. Highly recommend.

Girl you stuck ya whole foot in this book!

5/5 everything that happened I didn't see coming at all. I was rooting for the main characters of this story and every twist that came just got crazier and crazier! I literally didn't want to put this book down I even made my spouse listen to it

Nice Clean Book

Prior to this book I was about to cancel my membership. I got tired of explicit sex talk. This book does mention sex but for the most part it’s began msn and wife.

It’s mental health and other real life issue. I like the way family is represented. Best book I’ve listed to in the fiction category.

5/5 The Twist was whoah

This was a great listen. Heartbreaking but also heartwarming and suspenseful. Evenie is reunited with her husband and daughter after being kidnapped for 10 freaking years. The only thing is her husband is engaged. I think Erica Lynne’s voice narration was perfect for Ev and JY Kora was perfect as the fiancée. Of course Ev isn’t going to be bubbly or lively after being held hostage for 10 years. And Winston James is always the best pick for the male lead. I really like Kimberly Brown. This was my 3rd book reading from her catalog.

Not your typical romance

This book was sooooo good! Second chance romance, suspense, crime, all in one. The writing, pace of the story, and character development was perfect and kept me interested and wanting more whenever I took a break.
The narration was also 10/10. I usually like reading physical books, but listening to this audiobook made me want to give this a try going forward.

I couldn’t put it down. A romance with suspense?! The perfect combination. I literally was hooked from the chapter 2.
