5/5 The Twist was whoah

This was a great listen. Heartbreaking but also heartwarming and suspenseful. Evenie is reunited with her husband and daughter after being kidnapped for 10 freaking years. The only thing is her husband is engaged. I think Erica Lynne’s voice narration was perfect for Ev and JY Kora was perfect as the fiancée. Of course Ev isn’t going to be bubbly or lively after being held hostage for 10 years. And Winston James is always the best pick for the male lead. I really like Kimberly Brown. This was my 3rd book reading from her catalog.

Not your typical romance

This book was sooooo good! Second chance romance, suspense, crime, all in one. The writing, pace of the story, and character development was perfect and kept me interested and wanting more whenever I took a break.
The narration was also 10/10. I usually like reading physical books, but listening to this audiobook made me want to give this a try going forward.

Girl you stuck ya whole foot in this book!

5/5 everything that happened I didn't see coming at all. I was rooting for the main characters of this story and every twist that came just got crazier and crazier! I literally didn't want to put this book down I even made my spouse listen to it

EXCELLENT book!!! Narration HORRIBLE!!

The book was great. Definitely worth the credit! The female narration sucked so bad but the story was captivating.

The plot and how it started off and flipped back and forth.

lt is a meaningful and thought-provoking novel that encourages readers to reflect on what a healthy love truly looks like. It is both cautionary and empowering making it valuable to read for teens and young adults. It was an outstanding book to read.
